The Colin Farrell-starrer film "Triage" is set to open the 10th annual Belfast Film Festival in April. The festival will be screening Irish works and international films, holding workshops, and an acting class.
The film, written and directed by Danic Tanovic, tells the story of the effect of post-traumatic syndrome to a photojournalist (Farrell) who comes home after a dangerous assignment without his colleague. Paz Vega and Christopher Lee also star.
Belfast Film Fest will be screening other Irish projects as well, including Conor McPherson's "The Eclipse," Tom Magill's "Mickey B," and Ger Leonard's "Five Day Shelter." It will feature 30 Irish and U.K. premieres, with 125 screenings and events across the nation's capital from over 25 countries.
Several workshops and seminars will be held during the festival run. BAFTA nominee John Lynch will be delivering an Acting Masterclass as part of this year's festival.
