- The ten remaining teams stay in Vietnam as they travel from My Tho to Ho Chi Minh City. The teams struggle to combat Vietnam's hectic pace, and when one team offers to help another, they put their own race in jeopardy.
- On their last Pitstop, the teams were taken by houseboat to Vietnam. Gary & Matt depart from a local dock the following morning and head the approximately two hours to a theater in Ho Chi Minh City. There they must find a theater and take a clue out of the mouth of a dragon puppet.
Next to depart are Sam & Dan and Flight Time & Big Easy. We learn that Big Easy's father passed away just before Amazing Race started and during their last conversation he told Big Easy to win the race. Fourth out are Lance & Erika who admit finding the race harder than they expected. Next off the dock are Zev & Justin, Meghan & Cheyne and Maria & Tiffany. Mika & Canaan leave eighth, followed by Marcy & Ron. Marcy tells us her father was shot down over Vietnam. Brian & Ericka are the final team to depart for Ho Chi Minh.
Marcy seems to be enjoying the race way too much to have any shot at winning. Gary & Matt are fighting traffic. Flight Time & Big Easy are the first ones to find the theater. After a few stabs, Easy is able to grab the clue from the mouth of one of the dragons. Inside is a bullet, with a stamp rolled-up inside. The stamp featuring the teams' next stop: Ho Chi Minh Post Office.
Gary & Matt are next to get the clue from the theater, followed by Zev & Justin.
Flight & Easy arrive at the post office and see that a Detour is next. Teams have to pick between: A physical challenge involving moving a concrete animal around a park while collecting balloons, or a word play challenge where teams must spot Vietnamese letters from an observation deck and have a local unscramble the countrys popular word for freedom.
Flight Time & Big Easy decide to go for the physical challenge. They grab a ram and start rolling it along on a dolly. The Globetrotters are already two balloons in by the time Meghan & Chayne, Maria & Tiffany, Marcy & Ron, Lance & Keri and Sam & Dan get to the theater. Lance & Keri have trouble figuring out that the stamp was hidden inside the bullet. With only Brian & Ericka behind them, Mika & Canaan seem to think they are supposed to dance in front of the dragon puppets.
Zev & Justin, Gary & Matt and Meghan & Cheyne are next to reach the post office and all three go with the physical challenge. Marcy & Ron pick the word challenge. With the Globetrotters nearly done the challenge, Maria & Tiffany and Sam & Dan arrive at the post office. Brian and Mike finally get their bullet as Flight Time & Big Easy finish the animal/balloon challenge.
Flight Time & Big Easy are first to begin making their way to a busy intersection in a nearby city. Mika & Canaan, Brian & Erick and Lance & Keri are the last three to the post office and all pick the physical challenge. Marcy & Ron, the lone word play team, get to the hotel and start looking for letters. The physical challenge folks claim their animals. Maria & Tiffany break their dolly early in the challenge and Zev & Justin break their giraffe. The last three tams show up and get their animals.
Meghan & Cheyne are the second team to finish the physical challenge, followed by Gary & Matt. Marcy & Ron figure out all six letters and start looking at nearby signs. Sam & Dan are the fourth to finish the challenge. Brian & Ericka get the clue fifth, followed by Maria & Tiffany, Zev & Justin, Mika & Canaan and Lance & Keri. Inexplicably Marcy & Ron are not asking anyone for help with their letters.
Flight Time & Big Easy stay in the lead and are the first team to get the Roadblock assignment: One member of each team must breakdown two VCRs and toss parts into separate piles. Meghan & Cheyne and Gary & Matt are close behind the Globetrotters.
Marcy & Ron finally get help and figure out the word. Flight Time is first to take apart his VCRs and begin heading to this week's Pit Stop, The Reunification Palace. Brian and Sam are the fourth and fifth people to begin disassembling VCRs. Cheyne and Matt finish their VCRs and try to grab cabs. Not knowing where to go, Flight Time & Big Easy decide to follow Meghan & Cheynes cab and out-sprint them to the finish. Last place Marcy & Ron finally finish their challenge. Sam & Dan and Brian & Erick are the fourth and fifth teams to complete the Roadblock.
Meghan & Cheyne and Flight Time & Big Easy get to the palace at the same time. The Gloebetrotters win the foot race to Phil and are awarded a trip to Aruba.
Justin and Canaan are the seventh and eighth people to start working on the VCRs. Lance & Keri are struggling to find the Roadblock location, while Gary & Matt get to the finish line third.
Lance & Keri are lost and fighting like crazy with each other. Brian & Ericka get to the finish line fourth. Tiffany finishes the Roadblock and Sam & Dan finish the leg fifth. Three teams are working on their VCRs while Marcy & Ron struggle to find the Roadblock site. Lance and Justin finish the Roadblock, leaving Marcy & Ron way back in last. Maria & Tiffany reach the end in sixth, followed by Mika & Canaan. Ron finally takes apart the VCRs and looks for a cab with Marcy.
Not realizing there is still a team behind them, Zev & Justin and Lance & Keri try to beat each other to the palace. Zev & Justin win the race for eighth, and Lance & Keri realize they are still alive.
Marcy & Ron finally arrive in tenth and are eliminated from the race.
