Despite being a huge Disney fan, 'Phineas and Ferb' was one of those shows before starting to watch where there was uncertainty as to whether it would be my cup of tea. Luckily, it turned out to be a major hit with me and my brother and sisters and very quickly we became addicted to it. Even if it is very formula-based, there are so many cool situations, quotes and songs and have always loved the characters and the theme song (which avoided it becoming repetition heavy).

"No More Bunny Business" and "Spa Day" both had strong concepts. Both are also very well done episodes, espeically "No More Bunny Business" which was actually excellent. Which also story-wise stands out more for one character and a different conflict to usual. There are even better episodes of 'Phineas and Ferb' about (which says a lot about how brilliant the show is at its best), but the exceptionally high quality that the show had at this point is still very much there in both episodes.

If there was anything that brought things down a bit, one in my view really dislikes how Candace behaves for most of "Spa Day". With the amount she puts others through for one thing, it is amazing at how things are resolved so patly with not much consequence. Good to see her learn from her mistakes and see her genuinely remorseful though.

So much is great in both episodes though. "No More Bunny Business" has a typically fun and inventive Phineas and Ferb subplot and Doofenschmirtz's role is suitably goofy, but it's the tension between Perry (funny, adorable and tough) and Dennis and the rogue in a rabbit's guise character that is Dennis that make it the great episode it is. It was also fun seeing how others reacted to Candace's taking in of Dennis.

Although "Spa Day" is a very well done episode, it is a case of the Doofenschmirtz subplot being better than the main. Doofenschmirtz has some priceless lines here, like with the nicknames and there is typically great interaction between him and Perry.

The animation is bright and colourful, with such vibrant colours that literally pop out at you and beautifully detailed backgrounds. The character animation in "No More Bunny Business" is particularly good and has some inventive and wonderfully exaggerated details, big and small. The music is in the style that is not usually my style of choice when listening to music, but it is very catchy and pleasant to listen to. The theme song is irresistible with a melody that sticks in the head for days without being an earworm and with very quotable lyrics. Some nice visuals accompanying it too. The writing is full of wit and intelligence in both episodes, equally so and not one being better in this regard than the other, and the pacing is lively. The character writing and voice work are excellent.

Concluding, great. 9/10.

"No More Bunny Business"

While the episode certainly has its moments, I can't quite say it's amazing. The past few episodes of the series have been consistently good and this just feels like a stepdown in quality. (7.5/10)

"Spa Day"

The episode is funny at times,. Especially with Mr. Fluffypants. However, it focuses more on Candace's annoying side. There are some laughs in her story but its just more annoying than funny. Also, the credits is pointless and unfunny. (7.5/10)
