Can't stand Mike Isabella!
Sylviastel8 October 2009
I had enough of all the Robin bashing. I don't know why they don't like her. It got worse after Mattin was eliminated. I wished that the judges would have explained to the remaining contestants that Mattin's dish in the campfire episode was inedible and that one of the judges, Tom Colicchio, threw out his food. It was also unanimous decision among the judges as well. So when Mattin was let go, it was because his fish was not cooked properly. Unfortunately, Robin got the guilt trip for not being let go. Regardless of how they like and dislike her, and in the following episode where the men wore red sashes to support Mattin. Unlike last season, the contestants don't seem to have a united front. Robin is the oldest of the group, a cancer survivor, and more educated than the rest. I think the judges and hosts have to explain their decision to eliminate Mattin to the rest of the contestants in the reunion show. As for Michael Isabella's animosity towards his partner in this episode, it was just unbearable and you feel sympathy towards Robin who probably senses his dislike and didn't fight him for power in their dish. As for Eli's take on Robin, I find that also troubling. I like Robin. I think she would be good for a cook show because she talks so much while she cooks. I am rooting for her to outlast Michael Isabella, Eli, and Laurine. I think it will come down to the brothers, Kevin, and Jennifer. I like Ash too but I don't think he'll make it.
