One of the most action packed episodes in the history of television
terrylarosa6 October 2023
And when I say action packed I mean that it was almost too much action. Certainly more than any of the Wick movies alone and without the constant repetitiveness of the gunplay. The whole last hour was literally nonstop. Explosions, gun and knife battles, amazing martial arts battles ( especially the final one on the roof ). Gibson played the villain to the full hilt. This is how you do a finale. And this is the second fantastic one this week after Ahsoka. There's definitely more story to tell here so a second season would be welcomed. Having likable characters to root for helped immensely as always and it'd be nice to know what happened to them in the intervening years between this and the first Wick. A lot of suspense too since except for Winston and Charon you didn't know who else would survive. Highly highly recommended.

The best ever . episode loade with everything
agentx-682018 October 2023
This episode is better than the last part of the John Wick series. A huge amount of action, excitement and enthusiasm. This episode is superior to many films. Excellent work. Great action. Very violent and bloody shots. Many surprises. Characters. The story. Everything is interconnected. A large amount of contradictory feelings. Revenge, greed, covetousness, and power. I am very happy. I did not expect to see an episode this wonderful. Something amazing. I think this episode is a complete movie. This is the best episode I have watched so far in all the series. Very good work. I hope this wonderful work continues in the same vein .

The Continental - S01E03 (2023) Poor outcome
claszdsburrogato7 October 2023
I'll start this review by saying that I didn't like the series, I thought it was mediocre and that the potential was completely wasted. However, this last episode was very fun at certain points and managed to bring some moments that are very reminiscent of the John Wick franchise films. The same problem returns for this third episode, but this time tripled. The episode is the length of a film and perhaps not so much time was needed, especially since all the plots that are opened have a very weak outcome. What stands out in this last episode are the action scenes, which are really cool, the rest is just more of the same.

Are poeople really that uninterested?

Episode 3 of The Continental is a prime example of wasted potential. The storyline, which should have been the backbone of the episode, was instead a convoluted mess, leaving viewers struggling to connect the dots. The fight scenes were equally disappointing, with inexplicable choreography that had one participant consistently waiting for the others, draining any sense of excitement or realism from the confrontations.

What's truly perplexing is the existence of glowing 10-star reviews. Either these reviewers have an inexplicably low bar for quality entertainment or, more concerning, there's a possibility that these ratings are not genuine. It's disheartening to think that honest critique can be drowned out by what appears to be either paid endorsements or a severe lack of taste among some viewers.

The lack of coherence in the episode's plot and the jarring fight sequences raise serious questions about the show's direction. Viewers are left wondering if the creative team behind The Continental lost their way or if there are underlying issues affecting the show's production. Whatever the case, Episode 3 fails to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving fans longing for the gripping narrative and well-executed action that should define a series of this caliber.

This doesn't seem right
babarizam8 October 2023
There so many things about this series and episode that doesn't connect the dots to the John Wick movie.

First of all the quality of specialists (criminals ) is so weak that a bunch of street players able to win hand to hand combat.

Second, high table bend almost every rule in this series which seemed impossible in John Wick movies.

I wonder at what point Winston realised the power of high table because pratcically he has nothing to lose so whats the bargaining chip?

Winston should have died long before John Wick movies, does that mean High table bend the rules to get the coin maker back? This doesn't seems right because John Wick payed a high price for breaking the rules of continental and high table.

I was so frustrated with this episode
mr_benj6 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So Frustrated.

I'm going to just address the last scene.

Cormac is dead. Laying on the tracks.

We know we need his hand to stop the destruction of the building.

We've just been using a knife in the scene.

We know there's less than three mins to go.

And thirteen floors to get the hand to the device.

We know also there are multiple trained killers in the building between the train tracks and the thirteenth floor.

This is all brilliant tension.

Do we get amazing tension?

No ... an unnecessary prop - the escape train comes along - and brilliant Winston spends a few valuable seconds thinking .. um... um...

A scene that was needed was Winston looking at the knife and then the hand .. followed by him trying to get up thirteen flights of stairs holding the hand (maybe using the hand), fighting off the last of the killers to reach the device on the 13th floor IN TIME.

(Sound familiar .. JW4 and the stairs) .... Would that have been epic ... YES.

Sadly, this final episode just didn't make sense.

This is not the world of John Wick
mgarcia_6 October 2023
I was very excited for this series as a John Wick fan. From the first chapter I had my doubts but I trusted that things would improve just as some characters like Winston would improve, but that didn't happen.

Yes, there was a lot of action and great fight scenes like those between the twins Hanzel and Gretel, they were one of my favorite characters but there was a lot of unnecessary action, there were unnecessary characters that made no sense and could have focused on the story and interesting characters.

The rules of John Wick's world were set aside and they did whatever they wanted. I'm sorry but this isn't part of JW, this Winston doesn't measure up to Ian's Winston.
