Crazy but I love it
kultfilm-131 October 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I liked Part 1 because it was so crazy but Part 2 even tops that.

This is an ultra-low budget movie so don't expect gore or slasher effects (well, they are in it but they are just funny!).

There are two stories in one: The first is about Robert Van Helsing. The Vampire Queen stole his heart and made a Zombie out of him. With the help of Count Dracula his girlfriend Pia tries to save him.

Then there is the Zombie story: Special Agent Eddie Wood, a Zombie Hunter gets the order from Chief Inspector Clay and Inspector Boll to save the world from evil Zombies who try to destroy Vienna with bad music.

On his way the save the world Eddie meets Pia who is searching for her boyfriend Robert. It is funny to notice that Wolf Morrison does not only play Eddie Wood but also Robert Van Helsing and Count Dracula.

Veronica Roder is a lovely and pretty Pia and Biggie Waite is a great and evil Vampire Queen but the funniest scenes are when Chief Inspector Clay (played by Wrestler Humungus) and Inspector Boll (Seth Raven - another professional Wrestler) turn into Zombies and they meet Eddie Wood and Pia and suddenly the crazy music starts to play - Brrr, if you have ever heard Austrian Volksmusic you know what I'm talking about. The Hansi Hinterseer-Look-a-like Johnny Behindlooker gives the Zombies the rest.

If you do not live in Austria and you have never ever heard how bad Austrian music can be you probably won't understand the humor but as an Austrian I couldn't stop laughing.

I love this movie - Rock 'N Roll Zombies from Outer Space!

Much better than "Vampire City I"

Warning: Spoilers
"Vampire City 2 - Rock 'N Roll Zombies from Outer Space" was one of the craziest movies I have ever seen and I mean this positive. Yes, it reminds of Ed Woods "Plan 9" but its not that boring. It even has a guy in it who is a professional Wrestler and looks like Tor Johnson. His character name here is Chief (!) Inspector Clay. The lead character's name is Agent Ed Wood - guess who? When Zombies try to destroy the world with bad music they haven't thought that the crazy Austrians fight back - with Schlager and Volksmusic - the worst music they have here. Not even the toughest Zombie can stand this kind of music.

This is a No Budget movie but it looks much better than the usual one's, it has cool music and lead actor Wolf Morrison who plays 10 (!) different characters here.

Part 2 is much better and funnier than Part 1 because it had a real good script. If you wanna have a lot of fun, pretty girls, crazy Zombies and good music - go for it!

Hansi Hinterseer saves the planet
Moviefanatic20091 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Zombies wanna destroy the planet with bad music but Austria strikes back: with a Hansi Hinterseer Look-a-like. Jodel music is not good for Zombies.

This movie has it all to become a modern Cult Movie: a funny story, bizarre plot twist, a perfect cast (every actor/actress is casted perfect for his/her role) and a good Soundtrack (listen to "Zombie Rock 'N Roll" or the "Zombie Polka" and you know what I mean).

Robert Tarantino's directing debut has some real great camera shots, Wolf Morrison's script is really funny and he even tops "Vampire City I" which was not easy to top.

There are thousands of Zombie movies but this one is different: it is more in the style of the British Comedy "Shaun of the Dead", with parodist elements (I love the scene where the Zombie eats one guy's stomach - not horrible, just funny!) If you wanna get shocked and you're looking for some gore effects than you better watch one of those thousand other Zombie movies but if you like the weird sense of humor in movies like "Mars Attacks", "Shaun of the Dead" or "Ed Wood" then this movie was made just for you!
