Novaris Film and Risbystudierne had been established by Peer Guldbrandsen in 1960 in Albertslund, well placed in the outskirt of Copenhagen. It was a highly productive film studio through the 1960'es, mainly used in the production of popular feature movies. The studios eventually went bust in 1971 and was later overtaken by Nordisk Film to host its feature film activities to this day.
