Strange Brother Sister Thing
Hitchcoc5 March 2021
The episode centers on young man who is beaten within an inch of his life in an alleyway in a dangerous part of the city. He refuses to ask for help as he convalesces in the hospital. This leads to some gang related investigations. But the real focus is a shop run by a young guy and his sister. A man was shot in the store and this becomes a connecting feature.

Beaten and Raped

Warning: Spoilers
When a man called Tommy Baker is running is an alleyway fleeing from another man, he is reaches, beaten and later the CSI discover also raped. Brass, Catherine and Nick investigate the case, collecting evidences and witnesses. Meanwhile, Louis Vartan, Langston and Greg investigate the murder of the electronic store owner Wayne Smith. The arson also set in fire the store, but failed since the sprinklers extinguished the fire. Soon the CSIs learn that both cases are connected.

"Death and the Maiden" is a good episode of "CSI", with the investigations leading the CSIs to the same case. The plot is simple after the discovery of the timeline and that the victim that survived was beaten and raped. However, the identity of the killer is a great surprise in the end. My vote is seven.

What a joke

Episodes like this is why no one will ever take CSI seriously. They force a stupid "plot twist" at the end which was so predictable a 6 year old kid could see it coming.

Basically the first 40 minutes of this episode was a filler and everything was "magically solved" in the last 60 seconds by a non-evidence where they found our "killer" who no one suspected except literally everyone with a brain already predicted it 30 minutes ago.
