The name of saxophonist Anita X. Orcist (Natalie Scharf) appears in the end credits as "Anita Exorcist".
In the mailbag segment during the original September 4, 2021 broadcast, Svengoolie announced the departure of the show's longtime audio engineer Chas Alling, who had taken a new job elsewhere.
Comedian Dana Gould's "A Moment with Dr. Z" video is reused from the earlier episode, The Mummy 1959 (2021).
The original broadcast on September 4, 2021 was the first full episode back at Svengoolie's dungeon studio, after a year and a half of recording new content remotely from the "top-secret Sven Cave" and "stately Sven Manor" due to the real-world coronavirus pandemic. In this broadcast, Svengoolie took a moment to recognize Christopher M. Faulkner and Christopher Jones, the graphic artists who created the Sven Cave and Sven Manor digital backdrops, respectively, and pointed out some of the details in those designs (along with Jones's designs for the Fortress of Svenitude and the Sven Fright Gallery).
The Sven Song is a parody of the jazz standard "On the Sunny Side of the Street", performed by Svengoolie in his studio, with Doug Graves and Anita X. Orcist performing remotely "at home".
