I saw this movie like a month ago or so and I still can't get over it...

The main idea wasn't bad. Actually the first 30 minutes were okay, although at some point it turned into a 90-minute-long episode of a Mexican telenovela. They started building up the suspense and it seemed to be going somewhere. By the time the Christian fanatic friend made her appearance, the whole movie started going downhill like a giant snowball. At first I thought it was a joke (seriously), her character looked too stupid to be true but then it kept going and I realized it was for real!!! This friend supposedly tries to help the main character in distress by telling her to let Jesuschrist in her body after she tries to commit suicide. So what does the fanatic friend do? She gives her a bible. Letting Jesus in won't change your mind about suicide, my mom used to be a paramedic and she told me about a few people who killed themselves and had a bible by their side. And let's not talk about the ending of the movie... LAMEST-ENDING-EVER.

After such painful experience I did some research about Paco del Toro and I found out that he makes this kind of movies for a living. He desperately wants to convince people to give up their beliefs (whatever they are) and make them believe ONLY in Jesus. I can't stand the fact that he can't accept other religions as they are. He thinks Christianity is the ultimate religion and yet, Christianity is the religion with the most loopholes I've heard of.

C'mon, dude.... this is not the 1500's anymore!!

I'll only recommend this movie to those crazy Christian fanatics and to my mortal enemies.
