That's not the case for these seven crime shows, which maintain their 100% fresh rating even now.
Rough Diamonds
Number of Episodes: 8
After his little brother commits suicide, Noah Wolfson comes home to Antwerp, where he reluctantly reconnects with the ultra-Orthodox Haredi community that he left behind years ago. Soon he is dragged into his family's business in the diamond trade, which is in debt by more than 1 million euros and has several shady characters breathing down their necks.
Critics Say: 'While offering an insight into this guarded, little-seen community, the series also works well as a thriller. But, at its heart is the dependable dramatic staple of a powerful family in turmoil, battling to stay intact and afloat.' – The Age (Australia)

Despite making up 18% of the U.S., Hispanic actors are underrepresented on TV, according to a new analysis released by Samba TV.
The analysis, which is based on the top 25 highest-reaching direct-to-streaming and top 25 highest-reaching linear TV premiere episodes that were released between January 1 and May 1, found that 42% of top-billed actors were Hispanic, Black, Asian, or another ethnicity such as mixed, while 58% were white. At the show level, 48 out of the top 50 programs featured a white lead, over two-thirds included a Black lead, and 56% featured mixed leads. However, less than half included Hispanic or Asian leads.

“The Night Agent” has passed “Bridgerton” Season 1 on Netflix’s most popular shows of all time.
Now sitting at the No. 5 spot on the most popular list, the action-packed series logged an additional 56.65 million hours viewed and climbed further atop the list after earning the No. 6 spot last week. The thriller series, which nabbed an early Season 2 renewal, currently sits behind “Bridgerton” Season 2 in the fourth spot. “Stranger Things” Season 4 leads the list, with “Wednesday” Season 1 taking second place and “Dahmer: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” taking the No. 3 spot.
“The Diplomat” proved a formidable opponent to “The Night Agent” on this week’s English TV list with the Keri Russell-led political drama leading the list as most viewed title with 57.48 million hours viewed. Rotem Shamir’s thriller series on Netflix, “Rough Diamonds,” is about an Orthodox Haredi Hasidic Jewish family who made their fortune in the diamond trade and incurs a massive blow when the youngest son of the Wolfsons commits suicide inside a diamond store. This sets in motion a series of events that bring out some rather nasty family secrets and expose the shady dealings of a few family members. But most of all, it shows just how flimsy relationships have become in the 21st century while throwing light on the workings of a deeply Orthodox Jewish family.
Estranged cousin to Yanki Wolfson, Noah returns to handle the funeral responsibilities because he can’t abandon the family that he’d walked out on in their time of need. He brings his son Tommy along but quickly finds out that the family of diamond dealers is deep in muck, both professionally and within the family.

Rough Diamonds is a new Belgian series for Netflix created by Rotem Shamir and Yuval Yefet starring Casper Knopf and Kevin Janssens.
Netflix takes us this time to Antwerp, in a diamonds and crime thriller that, although it may not seem so from the premise, has little or nothing to do with Guy Ritchie.
A classic crime investigation series with a very tv style rendering in its development (despite its hopeful beginning).
About the Series
Classic, entertaining, with a very TVish development, one of those series that meets the standards almost perfectly and that entertains, but with little much to offer than a more or less coherent development. It does have the grace (enough or not) of delving into the Jewish community settled in Belgium.
The character development is good. It does not pretend to make an intense series on a psychological level, it limits itself to allowing the characters...

So many great stories in history start out with the key players hating each other — as it is in Netflix and A24’s “Beef,” streaming on Netflix in April. Amy (Ali Wong) and Danny (Steven Yeun) meet via parking lot bump turned action-movie car chase, their lives connecting and their road rage lingering in weeks and months after the incident. In reviewing the series, IndieWire’s Ben Travers said that “’Beef’ does a fine job balancing Amy and Danny’s practical intelligence and impractical passions; their bitterness toward the other driver ebbs and flows as their personal lives better or worsen, and it’s in these moments that the half-hour drama thrives.”
