Synopsis: The film is set in the near future and centres on a highly-successful, creative and overworked architect (Daniel) who has failed to deal with severe emotional trauma surrounding the break up of his family.
His ex-wife (Jen) has moved to Australia with her new partner and taken their eight year old daughter (Aaliah) with her. Daniel returns from a business trip to his super stylish yet somewhat soulless apartment, bone-tired and distressed. He is greeted by his trusty AI (Walter) but is dismissive: today is Aaliah's birthday and all Daniel wants to do is talk to her - but he cannot get through; presumably they are all asleep.
During a torturous phone call with his boss (Tony), Daniel asks Walter to check his ex-wife's social media profile. The photos of the three of them celebrating at a restaurant in Sydney throw Daniel into a deeper state of depression.
Alone, exhausted and drained - Daniel contemplates his fate, whilst Walter tries to help him get over the break up of his family.
