So what's the point of Father Michael in this?

As a Christian myself, i was looking forward to this a lot since I've never seen a Christian representation in a local film. The representation in the beginning was good, it leaves a good impression. But it never truly shows what Father Michael's purpose in the whole disaster in the abandoned house/cult except from harming the woman. That doesn't leave a good look from a Christian. Where was his prayers during this whole film? Where was his Sign of Cross? Was the portrayal of his character was only his clerical collar? I was looking forward to the joint cooperation to execute the demon but I was only left with disappointment.

If the true purpose behind this film is to create awareness to the public that both religion could work together, it didn't show enough. Not even enough, it was nothing at all. In terms of morality, yes.

With how Christians pray and worship shouldn't be a taboo at all, just how much we are exposed to the other religion.

Better than the first one.

I did not really like the first one, but I still watch the second one because I saw the christian father character in the trailer and I think, Wow! This is so interesting. You know cinema in Malaysia is really lack of other religion's representation. You always see all muslim character, if you want to see other religion, need to see other language film.

So, what I think about it? Yeah, its far better. With a lot of social criticism about everything that happen in Malaysia recently, prejudice and everything. This film depicted all of that very well. Congratulation Syafiq. Keep doing a good movie for malaysian. I hope one day you can do some thriller detective movie. I feel malaysian cinema is just about ghost, ghost,ghost. Wanna see some detective chase some killer you know.
