The dynamic rotating opening shot effect was achieved by using a "nodal" camera head, which allows the camera to be rolled on an axis while the center of the lens remains constant. The nodal head in this case was a Weaver-Steadman Head rented from Chapman/Leonard LA. Renting it took up most of the small cash budget of the film.
Was shot for less than 500 dollars in 4 hours with a crew of 2 people.
