Mandy's Voice is a narrative short film about Mandy (Rachel Barcellona), a teen girl with autism who's desperate mom Liz (Karen Sillas) searches for ways to effectively communicate with her nonspeaking daughter. When Liz feels she's run out of options, she receives unwanted advice from a friend (Amy Nielsen) and warily turns to a controversial therapy which can give Mandy the ability to express herself, if she is able. Lives are changed and bonds strengthen as both daughter and mother take on seemingly endless challenges to move beyond a life where Mandy feels isolated and locked inside her body with a voice unheard.
