Pretty near all the principal cast and crew members are interviewed on camera for this 45-minute behind-the-scenes, and a number of revealing quotes are elicited by interviewer Sharon Seto. Writer\Director\Star Rob Stefaniuk begins his reasons for making SUCK by stating, "A) I always played in bands . . ." Rock star Alice Cooper states that the Freddie Krueger character of the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise is a "stand-up comedian; he doesn't do anything without making a joke." Cooper says he created his own persona as Rock's original dark angel when he noticed "the stages were full of Peter Pans, but no Captain Hooks." Stefaniuk notes that most of Burning Brides front man Dmitri Coats' (Queeny's) songs sound as if they were written by a vampire, particularly his "Flesh and Bone" offering which also is rendered as a separate four-minute music video featuring a montage of clips from SUCK in the DVD package. Henry Rollins (doomed radio deejay Rockin' Roger in the movie) opines about how female heroin addicts look "so alluring," inspiring the Goth fashion movement and the make-up for SUCK's many vampire rockers. And Detroit rocker Iggy Pop describes how making bloodsucker movies is safer than strolling the sidewalks of his hometown.
