Whose side you're on Dembe?
cjonesas19 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 5: Liz absence isn't felt anymore. The storyline has managed to move on.

Betrayal and madness are the main points of this episode. Very good acting, thrilling atmosphere, pain and suffering of the characters are felt, as well their grief and tiny happiness, but mostly sorrow prevails.

Dembe is the main focus of this one, in and out.

The Cuban Brain Burner
Hitchcoc13 December 2022
Some baddies and the Federal Government are working on a device that we heard about from ambassadors in Cuba. It supposedly messes up brain functions with some high frequency transmissions. It later showed up in other embassies, so it is probably real and a potential threat. Here, the inventor has put a high powered device in actions and kills all his fellow scientists. That said, there are other issues as well. Harold lost some time one evening and the guy who was having an affair with his wife previously, ends up dead. He is being investigated. Park believes she has cancer because of a screwed up effort to help Donald with a drug test. And, very significant, is Dembe's effort to have a life of his own. Good episode.

ZegMaarJus10 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Stan, he got killed by Okara, the new Blacklister. Alina thinks that she has cancer. Olivia got killed by Okara. Cooper gets interrogated by Heber about Doug's death. Park got knocked down by Hans with a glass bottle. Hans got killed by Okara. Park is also hurt. Red is furious when Dembe uses his medical services for Park. Red wants to protect Dembe. Okara blows himself to death with a bomb. Alina hasn't cancer, she was pregnant. Weecha killed Jovan. Nice Episode of The Blacklist Season 9, this was just good. The season so far is not special. I think it takes a while when i get used to The Blacklist without Liz.

Loving This Season
sidfargas22 November 2021
This has been the best The blacklist has been in many a years. Red Reddington is back to being delightful yet imposing. I love the arcs and turns and character depth that they are coming up with now. So refreshing to get Liz out of the picture and Red back to the forefront. Can't wait and hope there's many seasons more to come...

Should have been done after Liz died
GoldenGooner048 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Yes she was a pain, and could not handle the role she was given to play, but it was the chemistry between her and Red that kept the series alive, will we finally solve the puzzle Well when she died, so did that puzzle, now Red has now replaced Dembe with a kick-ass Mrs Bond. And Dembe has suddenly decided to become a cop and walk into the Task force. I mean it don't seem to matter he was against the Task Force for 8 seasons. But he just walks into the Task Force, it's Stupid beyond Belief Why don't let writers let a show go when it's a good time to go.

Cause it's all about the "Money" Why should James Spader walk away from a very good earner.

For me the hook is gone and now it just don't work.

Things for which we love The Blacklist TV Show
tanzimkh19 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Heart breaks, betrayal, CROSSING THE LINE, Friendship, Trust & HONESTY above all; these are few of the words that any of fan of this TV show can say to express their experience with the show throughout all these seasons. This is what The Blacklist is good at, this is why, we the fans, love this show. And every bit of that sense is being filled up by this season and every episodes so far. Thanks to the writers & producers for producing that and to the actors for perfectly executing that.

For of the outstanding things to mention; 1) short yet amazing performance by Red's new associate, Jeffrey; well I miss his father but he perfectly filled in the place for the show. 2) Park's pregnancy, this character represents everyone who has a complicated life but tries every possible way to avoid making a mass. 3) Harrold and Ressler, these guys are simple the perfect portrayal of "Worst situation can get the best of us". 4) Aram is the supportive & smart brother that we all hope to have in our life. 5) Dembe & Red, I think they are the perfect portrayal of friendship, honesty, trust. I almost cried seeing the last few minutes of the episode. One thing I have to mention, Red being the new skinner add a lot of responsibility in the criminal world on Red's shoulder. I hope we get to see more of the "New Skinner" role in the upcoming episodes. Dembe as an FBI Agent and somewhat filling the shoes of Elizabeth Keen is MIND BLOWING.

There is a lot more to offer by the show. And as always, that's to the writers for this entertaining weekend. Thank you.

I love it, I don't understand why people dislike this season (except Liz is gone and we don't know why Dembe and Red are appart) but I think this is a good one.

Definitely one of the strong points of this season... The cinematography at the end was on point. But everything that happened in this episode, definitely what makes me keep watching the Blacklist.

The Defining Moment
mr-clark9315 December 2022
The end of a unique relationship. Dembe most emotional & complicated decision to open that box. Much respect for seeking spiritual guidance, praying prior to. I sorta felt his pain. It was intense for me to see when Red 1st presented the offer regarding that box. I actually felt it would never come that decision. I definitely understand Dembe position now that he's an FBI agent. It would have been interesting to see exactly how that process took place, for Dembe to transition into that role. I do recall a lot of the situations Red was in that stressed Dembe out. Lol! (😏Will miss the Red & Dembe Team.)
