When Dory and her friends go to meet with Tunnel Quin (Jeff Goldblum) in his corporate headquarters, the lobby, staircase, and first landing are filmed on location in the highly recognizable atrium, main staircase, and mezzanine of the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens. The current incarnation of the museum was remodeled in 2011 by Leeser Architecture, out of a 1920s building that was originally a movie studio--and it is next door to the Kaufman Astoria Studios, long a filming site for many New York-based productions, including Sesame Street.
