I liked the film. It was sweet, soothing and loveable. Jishu and Solanki delivered their roles so beautifully. I love such sweet family dramas and this movie gives us exactly that thing. Songs of this film are really good. Especially, Rongmoshal is one of my favourites. But I gave 8/10 because I felt the script could be better with such an unique concept. Besides, I was really disappointed with the ending of the film. Yeah, we all want a happy ending but you can't just end the story with an unrealistic over-dramatic ending. We couldn't understand how Megh stopped Bristi from going Sydney and how he tackled Souvik. I wanted to watch how Bristi reacts in that case. But I felt that just for the sake of a happy ending, the director forced an unrealistic ending. After such a beautiful story, I can't accept an ending like this. Anyways, just an ending doesn't ruin rest of the efforts and good works. Overall, a really good watch.

My thoughts on this movie

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was the first Bengali movie I watched. I really liked this movie and I enjoyed the storyline. The only issue I had is I didn't like the ending as much. It was sad to see brishti go with shouvik. But then after megh comes back from trying to get her to come back. He sees she came back. But did she actually come back? If so how did she manage to leave shouvik at the airport hours before her flight. And if she didn't come back then was megh imagining it? And I wish they would've showed a bit of her journey to Sydney and how her life was there as well as how megh and Potol and Posto were coping after brishti left.

I have no idea what this film was all about.
Its about everything without being about anything.
We have a single father but its not a story about single parents.
We have surrogacy but its not about that either.
We have a gay friend but its not about him.
Then we have a girl who runs a kid's toy store but hates kids. Yes, her words. She hates kids. Not dislikes, not that she finds kids irritable. She hates them.
And Megh, who we are constantly reminded is a father and very fatherly, for some weird reason falls for her head over heels at first sight.
Why Megh falls in love with Brishti is a total mystery.
Now I admit I would have been interested in this conflict. A guy who loves kids falls for a girl who hates them and how their relation finally blooms.
Interesting, but no. The conflict is the girl has a Fiancé. And through a series of extremely epic idiotic chain of events starts living next door to Megh.
So basically, this is a cliched love triangle.
But to make the love triangle even less interesting, the Fiancé turns out to be one of those cliched NRIs.
I would say this is the worst movie delivered by the legendary duo Shiboprosad and Nandita.
Only good things in the movie are Jishu's acting and two little munchkins..

There's a huge difference between tv daily soap acting & commercial film acting. It's like taka diye ticket kete Serial dekhte gachilam! Chi, solankir ato baje acting. Jissu Senguptar level a esob films manaina! Kothai south er top budjet block buster films & performances & Bangla teo, Ek j chilo rajar moto performances r kothai eisob vulval cast script er pallai pore nijer level down kora!!
Very unique concept but illogical script & story telling! Zero engaging! Very few comedy scenes, rest just acid on your eyes! Wasted 2 tickets, ruined the whole valentine's day.
