The paper Neil finds in the porn magazine reeds: "Bryce Craine---Olathe, Kansas, December 25, 2002. Bryce Craine, formerly of Olathe, Kansas, went to be with his Lord on December 25th, 2002. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, December 6, 1962 to Frank Craine and Thelma Sakic. Survivors include his father and stepmother Beverly Craine. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm January 2nd, 2002 at Plantview Acres."
Neil sings a lullaby about how he is reading his favorite comic book, Planetary, while cradling the baby to sleep. Later, in the graveyard, he mentions it again. Planetary is a limited series (i.e. finite story) that run from 1998 to 2009. It was written by Warren Ellis, who also wrote the graphic novel 'Red' that was liberally adapted into Bruce Willis' movie RED (2010). A pilot based on Ellis' limited series Global Frequency (2005) was made, but the planned TV series never got made.
