  Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan : It's Dr. Brennan at the Jeffersonian. Don't you have Caller ID?

  Walter Sherman : Caller ID doesn't tell you who's calling. It tells you whoe the phone company wants you to think is calling.

  Brittany Stephenson : In my experience, men don't try that hard.

  Walter Sherman : I'm like a whole new experience. Once I start looking for you, I will find you.

  Brittany Stephenson : Why're you being so persistent? I'm not that pretty.

• Walter Sherman : There is an infinite, thrumming, unseen web that joins everything. Everything is connected to everything else. But this fact is nearly impossible for us to grasp as we are just mollusks, shut up tight at the bottom of a dark, cold ocean, trying to make sense of stars we cannot even see! I challenge everything because when I do, a quick bolt of electricity jolts between two elements that otherwise appeared unconnected. You call it paranoia, I call it epiphany. You want me to give that up, so I can enjoy a cup of decaf coffee? I'm sorry, I can't do that.
