Learn more- After the first "double-score showdown," the hosts got to the results quickly. They first reveals that Chad & Cheryl were the first couple safe for another week. The next couple back for at least another week was Jake & Chelsie.
After a recap of the previous night's events, head judge Len Goodman asked Pam & Damian for an encore performance of their rumba.
Be our guest: Sade stopped by to perform "Baby Father." Later, in a bit of hip-hop fusion, dancer Tiler Peck performed to the live music of urban violinists Nuttin' But Stringz (who you might remember from the last season of "America's Got Talent"). After that, Sade returned to perform "Sweetest Taboo."
Back to the results: A bit more recappery and a glance at the leader board was followed by another round of results. The next couple saved was Evan & Anna. Later, two more couples were learned their fate. Nicole & Derek learned they were safe. Then, Pam & Damian got some good news, as well.
'The future of ballroom dancing' A group of young dancers choreographed by Mark Ballas took to the 'DWTS' dance floor to demonstrate what the future of ballroom competition has in store.
Back to the results: One more couple that was sent off to safety was Erin & Maks.
Finally, with three couples remaining, it was time to see which two were safe and who was going home. The first couple safe was Kate & Tony.
That left Niecy & Louis and Aiden & Edyta awaiting their fate, but Tom Bergeron noted they weren't necessarily the bottom two.
But the couple going home this week was ... Aiden & Edyta.
