The banner appears to change from Goodbye, Betty (x'd out) to Halton and then later shows Goodbye, Betty.
This happens because there are two banners hung up. One has Betty's name crossed out and Halston's written in, and the other was left alone.
The book (mocked-up issue) for the 100th anniversary of MODE magazine was supposed to include biographies of each Editor-in-Chief in the magazine's history, but the book included no mention of Alexis Meade, who served as co-Editor-in-Chief with her brother Daniel for a time.
