This episode, much like the old 'Anthology of Interest' episodes, features three stories which lead to deaths of major characters that are then promptly ignored. The first sees Fry wanting a proper Christmas, complete with a real Christmas tree, rather than a modern Xmas. The only problem is that all fir trees have been extinct for eight hundred years. There is a hope though; the global seed bank in the remote Svalbard archipelago; the fact that it is located next to the germ warfare bank surely won't lead to a disaster! Secondly Bender wants to celebrate Robanukah the traditional way and that means sleazy fembots wrestling in petroleum oil for six and a half weeks; unfortunately petroleum oil has all been extracted; perhaps there will be some left very deep underground; surely the ship will withstand the enormous pressure! Finally the crew go the Hermes' house to celebrate Kwanza; to celebrate properly they need beeswax candles and, you guessed it, there is a problem; this time a parasite has infected the bees so they decide to get some from the deadly space-bees with disastrous results.

This is an okay episode but I don't think it was as good as the 'Anthology of Interest' episodes; this is partly because no attempt is made to explain how things can be reset after each story and partly because the stories are effectively the same. In each the crew go looking for something that was believed to be no more with disastrous results. That isn't to say there aren't some funny moments and each of the stories. Overall I'd say this was a weaker than average episode of 'Futurama' but it is still entertaining enough.

Warning: Spoilers
The only refreshing thing here is that pretty much everybody dies, repeatedly. ... It's not that I want to see our protagonists' demise, but it's at least a fresh take, kind of. Otherwise this is a low point.
