- Liz tells Tracy she's found out the rest of the staff goes out every Thursday night (Thursday Night Thunder) and does not invite her. Tracy tells Liz that pregnant Angie is on bed rest with high blood pressure. Tracy wants someone to take care of his wife for him and Kenneth immediately agrees.
Jack nearly called Avery by Nancy's name the night before. He tells Liz he is going to decide between the two women that day. It's the toughest decision he's ever had to make. Liz is upset about not being included in Thursday Night Thunder, but Jack thinks it's good to have that distance.
Angie is slapping Kenneth around, saying she wants Tracy home to take care of her. Kenneth calls him and tells him to come home.
Cerie tells Liz and Jenna that her wedding is back on (her fiancé had been kidnapped by pirates) and they are both going to be bridesmaids. If they are going to throw her a work party it must be this week. Liz is put in charge of planning the party for that evening. She tells the staff: "There ain't no party like a Liz Lemon party because a Liz Lemon party is mandatory."
Despite using a complicated formula to compare the two women, both Avery and Nancy end up with identical scores of 489.3. Even a dart thrown at their pictures lands exactly in the middle. Jonathan brings Jack a janitor situation: A janitor named Khonani was promised five years by Jack that he would be moved out of the late-night shift. Khonani had always dreamed of having the "tonight shift." In part to avoid his lady issues, Jack says he will make the janitorial negotiations his top priority.
Tracy is struggling to be a good husband. Even when he tries to bring a sandwich upstairs to Angie he ends up at a strip club.
Jenna tells Liz no one is expecting much from her party. Jack calls to ask her for the phone number of Subhas, the current first shift janitor, so he can ask him to step down. Jack tells Khonani they need to handle the situation delicately.
Tracy doesn't think he can change: "I'm like a chameleon, always a lizard." Liz calls to ask him to her party. He can't because of the Angie situation. Tracy's dog Tracy Sr. has an electric collar keeping him on the property. Tracy has Kenneth put the collar on his neck.
Jack meets with Khonani and Subhas. He tells Subhas it is time for him to step aside, but Subhas bristles. Jack suggesting re-inventing how people think about nightly trash removal, by making the night shift even earlier.
Tracy tells Kenneth he must be him for that night, and sends him off to save Liz' party.
Khonani is upset because since Subhas was moved to 10 p.m. he has taken all the trash. He tells Jack he must make a decision about who gets the 11:30 shift. Jack is struggling with both of his decisions. Jack says he is sticking with Subhas. This is okay with Khonani, because he has a job lined up at Foxwoods casino.
Kenneth calls Tracy to tell him that Angie needs her blood pressure medicine from the car parked outside on the street.
During the party Liz snaps and tells everyone she knows about Thursday Night Thunder and that she deserves to be loved. Just then Kenneth (who is being chased by Tracy Sr.) runs through the room and breaks up the party.
Tracy crawls through the electrified area to the car. After considering leaving for the party, Tracy returns to the house with the medicine.
Cerie's party is in ruins. They turn to Liz for help escaping from the dog and tell her that's the thing she's good at. Liz puts on a helmet and distracts Tracy Sr. while everyone leaves.
