- Recap.
Popular movie actor Donald Green meets with a studio rep in the Hamptons to look at the next script in his line of films. Known for playing a character called the Garbage Collector, he receives a script which he and Faith (his representative, who arrives late) decide to take with them to examine more closely. Since he'll be in the Hamptons for a week, the studio rep asks Donald to show up at a party. He accepts then learns it's for her son's birthday and in full Garbage Collector regalia. He nonetheless agrees.
Soon after, Donald gets pulled over by police for questionable driving. Given a field sobriety test, he becomes dizzy and begins staggering toward the officer, who, intimidated by Donald's size, promptly tazes him. Hank and Evan happen to drive by and see Donald on the ground gasping for air. Hank has him uncuffed and brings him to his feet so he can breathe. Evan, a huge fan of Donald's work, recognizes him immediately and wants a picture of himself and Donald together. Despite the awkward circumstances, Donald agrees. Later, as Hank treats Donald, Donald tells Evan about slowly building his career up from being a bodyguard. Donald asks Hank how much he owes for the service, but with Evan continuously relishing his career, snapping a picture during his treatment and slipping a business card in his breast pocket, Hank says they're even.
Hank has lunch with Mrs. Newburg with the intention of warning her against Eddie. He espies Eddie across the restaurant (trying to hustle a reserved table from the maître d'). Hank intervenes and thereafter takes off.
Hank takes a sample of Boris' DNA to send off for testing, mentioning that Dr. Casseras' work in Cuba seems particularly promising, if he can reach her. Hank leaves, and Boris retrieves a letter from Dr. Casseras from a hidden compartment within his wooden box of Cuban cigars.
Both Faith and Donald show up at Hank's house. Faith tells Hank about symptoms he's been having related to his legs, feet and balance. They are there because Donald has an insurance physical coming up.
As Hank and Divya begin to examine Donald, Faith and Evan step outside, where Evan accepts the duty of showing her around the Hamptons. Faith reveals she is Donald's little sister.
Faith and Evan have lunch at a restaurant. She tells him she and her brother drive across the country for all of his personal appearances (planes unable to accommodate a 7' man very well). Faith takes vitamins and suggests they leave the restaurant without even touching her food. She takes a call and excuses herself. Left alone, Evan calls Hank and asks him to call him back so he can get out of this date. Hank hangs up. When Faith returns, she tells Evan exactly the same things that she did before she left but can't remember them.
Hank tells Donald he is slightly anemic but otherwise okay. During the conversation Donald is unaware that an espresso machine is blowing scalding steam on his hand. Alarmed, Hank's concern deepens.
At the hospital, Hank asks Jill if she knows where he can find an MRI to fit Donald, who is seven feet tall and five hundred pounds. Jill (another Trash Collector fan, as it turns out) brings Hank and Donald to an MRI used at a horse stable. She asks about his special set of teeth used in films - ten in all, he reveals, some for long shots, some for closeups, some for talking.
As Evan and Eddie play tennis together (with Eddie playing it more like baseball), Evan ignores his ringing cellphone and reveals he's avoiding Faith. Eddie claims it as "the Lawson curse" of being overly desirable to women. A delivery man shows up with supplies for Hank. Eddie signs for them.
Evan walks the supplies up to the house and finds Faith there. She mistakenly thinks it is Friday, the day of Donald's appointment with Hank, not Saturday, the day of the birthday party.
At the beach-side party for the studio rep's kid (where Evan enjoys the large inflatable slide), Evan asks Hank to help him avoid Faith, claiming she's faking memory loss as an excuse to be with him. Hank's not the slightest bit interested in Evan's problem, but learns Donald is dressing in character for the party. Faith comes over, and Hank leaves them together. Hank pops in a tent to see Donald. Soon after, Donald walks out in his costume and none of the kids seem to care. Fortunately, he and Hank arranged a little playacting in case over-exposed Hampton kids don't react. Hank throws a plastic bottle in the trash rather than a recycle bin. Donald grabs him, lifts him, and prepares to throw him in the trash with it but suddenly can't feel his legs. He falls, landing on top of Hank.
Evan tells Hank he doesn't know how to handle Faith because he's scared of Donald. Hank (with an ice bag on his neck) looks at the equipment Eddie signed for and realizes it's for Boris - more antibiotics than Hank would use in a year.
Hank walks in on Boris fencing with Dieter and asks about the medication he ordered. Boris tells Hank not to worry about the medication, but is bothered that Eddie felt comfortable enough to sign for the package.
At Donald's place, Hank tells Donald his spinal tap came back okay, which leaves him stumped. Donald mentions that Faith has been on a diet.
Nearby, Faith tells Evan she has been offered a job at a law firm. After passing the bar she couldn't turn Donald down when he asked her to work for him. Evan tells her he knows what that's like and thinks she should leave Donald to help her career. Faith leaves to take her vitamins.
Jill, who is also a huge fan of Donald's, shows up at the house (invited by "Donny"). Hank seems slightly jealous of her interest in Donald. Donald finds Faith unconscious on the patio. Hank helps clear Faith's airway with a tube and finds some large pills blocking her esophagus. Faith admits she recently had a gastric bypass and has been having trouble with the diet. He tells her the diet issues could also be causing her short-term memory loss, specifically a lack of vitamin B1. Faith does not want to tell Donald.
At home, Hank tells Evan he snapped at Boris. Evan admonishes Hank against pissing off their golden goose, but upon hearing this involves a problem with Eddie signing for Boris' medication, he switches to asking Hank why he gets all weird and "un-Hank" when Eddie's around. Jill calls; there's a problem with Donald.
Hank finds Donald incurring breathing difficulty while carrying some boxes. Hank now recognizes signs that Donald is dangerously low on copper. Donald has dentures and has been absorbing too much zinc from his denture cream for both daily life teeth and the fake teeth he wears in his Garbage Collector role. Hank advises better-fitting dentures and adhesive cream without zinc.
Faith and Donald thank Hank and Evan for helping them out. They have decided to dissolve their professional relationship, with Faith taking the law firm job. Donald gives Evan a special thank you - for being a gentleman.
At Hank's request, Eddie meets him at a restaurant. Hank says he thinks his father should leave the Hamptons. Eddie is upset at being talked to this way by his son. Hank mentions Eddie walking out on their family. Eddie is furious. He is upset that Hank went to Mrs. Newburg earlier and threateningly proclaims he isn't going anywhere.
At the cottage, Hank, Evan and Divya finish watching Donald's latest Garbage Collector film. They love it. Hank also assures them that the relationship with Boris is "fine." Hank goes for a run and is nearly run over by an attractive woman in a flashy sports car who has come to meet with Boris.
We see Boris (and Dieter) meet with the woman. He has her sign a confidentiality paper and refers to her as his new concierge doctor.
