Hal Hartley and Miho Nikaido reflect on their marriage in a very loose collection of sequences set mostly in Nikaido's native Japan. Part travelogue, part diary, part counselling session, this is a sweet, meditative insight into the relationship between a creative couple. Not groundbreaking, and too oblique to be genuinely informative about the protagonists. Nonetheless, another quietly satisfying Hartley short.
