Sex & Nudity

  • There are a few mild suggestive outfits that Daphne wears to bed (not shown often) and some female villains that are also somewhat risqué.
  • Some flirtatious comments with innuendo are heard throughout the show.
  • In S2 E6, at an art show there is a piece of art with painted women's underwear items on it. This piece is only shown briefly.
  • Lots of flirting between teens.
  • In S1 E3, Mayor Jones is discussing new city parking meters to which Velma quips "I know a place he can put another parking meter".

Violence & Gore

  • Multiple decaying corpses or grotesque bodies are seen. The first episode shows surprisingly confronting cocooned bodies but they are not dead. S2 E11 shows a real corpse onscreen, which is highly disturbing but not graphic.

Profanity

  • One use of "darn".
  • It sounds like Scooby says 'f#ck' in one episode and he then apologises for what he had said so it is very likely.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The appearance of most of the monsters/villains are scary.
  • This series is much darker than most Scooby Doo interpretations, with scenes where characters are threatened with death or face both real and supernatural threats much more intense than the usual "bad guy in a mask" routine from the classic series.
