When I think back to some of the better short films I've come across over the years this one always comes to mind for some reason. It's a weird one, that's for sure... I've even revisited it a couple of times which I don't do with short films generally, but then this doesn't really feel like a short film. It feels more like a stripped-out segment of a longer piece (one I'd love to see), so leaves the impression it is just getting going when it rather abruptly ends. Frustrating, but then again maybe that's one reason I still remember it years later. I have to admire the vibe which is a Kafka/Lynch/Bunuel sort of thing. The story is odd (in a good way), and I love the overall look and feel of it. Wonder whether he'll make another film.
