- "Desperate Housewives" - "Truly Content" Tom is depressed and is prescribed anti-anxiety medication. It scares Lynette but Tom wants to try it because he's so miserable with his life and about their new baby. Lynette wants him to get a second opinion from a holistic practitioner and she says she'll go with what he says. Tom arrives home happy and says that the doctor prescribed medical marijuana. Lynette does not like the idea.
Susan, Lynette, and Bree bring over a muffin basket to welcome Beth Young to the neighborhood. They invite her to the weekly poker game. Paul arrives looking menacingly bemused which makes the ladies leave. Beth explains to him about the friendly poker game she was invited to. Paul tells Beth they they are not trying to be her friends for they were being nosy. But he tells Beth that she should go and give them all sorts of meaningless information so they'll think of her as a friend. He says in time it will be useful.
The hospital administrators give the Solis' a piece of paper that says they won't sue the hospital and they'll stop looking for the other family of their biological daughter. Carlos quickly signs, but Gaby is hesitant. She says if signing will spare the other mother pain then she will, and she does.
Meanwhile, Bree says she loves the color of her new living room but she doesn't. Keith assures her no one will be looking at the color when she's in the room. Renee comes over and tries to get Bree to hang with her on a manhunt since they're both getting divorced. Bree tries to demur, but Bree points out that she doesn't "hang." Bree says she may have already found one. Renee says she can't be friends with a beautiful classy woman who doesn't need to leave the house to find a man.
Susan is doing her sexy routine and signs off. Her landlady and boxx Maxine arrives and says a star is born and gives Susan a bonus for getting the most hits in a month. Apparently, she unseated a Stacy Strauss, one of Maxine's other girls.
Back at Bree's house, Keith is enjoying a great sandwich Bree made. She's about to ask him out on a date when his cute, young girlfriend Stephanie arrives. She immediately goes over to Renee and agrees to go on a manhunt.
At the Solis house, Gaby is staring at family pictures wistfully. The ladies arrive and Bree and asks if she's okay, and Gaby says she is. Beth is explaining her childhood to the ladies, claiming that her mother dated a lot of men. They play cards. They ask how she met Paul. She says she saw his name in the newspaper one day over his imprisonment and liked his eyes and they started corresponding and he turned out to be wonderful. Beth says in her heart she knew Paul was innocent of the murder he was convicted of, and she was right.
That evening, Lynette is cooking when Tom arrives grabbing chips in case of the munchies from his prescription. He's never smoked pot before so he's preparing with munchies and Pink Floyd CDs. (Apparently he was a nerd in high school.) He asks Lynette if she wants to join in his doobidge. She tells him he needs to take it seriously and she doesn't want their kids to see their dad stoned. He's prepared with big sunglasses. The desperate Lynette grabs his medicine bottle, dumps out the pot, and fills it with oregano instead.
Meanwhile, Susan and Mike are doing laundry and she suggests a nice dinner for their anniversary. He doesn't think they can afford it but she says they can. Another woman in the laundry room asks about her going to Chez Naomi, such an expensive place. Susan realizes that it's Stacy and they both work for Maxine. Stacy says Susan stole her signature bit and she's mad that she lost her bonus check. She tells Susan to watch her back.
Lynette checks in with Tom who claims he is "wasted." She laughs and pretends to play with his vision and goofs on him with gibberish. He plays right into it. He says he watched the baby sleep and he says she's perfect and he's so lucky and he couldn't be happier. Lynette says she's glad it's working.
The next day, Susan and Gaby shop and Gaby wonders about the expensive dress Susan wants to buy. She says she's making more money with her jewelry. A little girl approaches Gaby thinking she's her mommy. The girl's real mother arrives and when Gaby learns she's eight-years-old, and Gaby starts asking the girl her birthday and where she was born. She then sees a lot of other little girls who might be her daughter. She goes to Bob and asks for help. He gives the info that Gaby gives him about the other mother that she knows and he hires a private eye. Gaby lies by claiming that Carlos is on board with this.
Susan goes to see Maxine to get her weekly envelope. She picks it up and notices the monitors. She sees Stacy steal her vacuum bit. Maxine says if she's going to do that she should at least have Susan show her how to use the nozzle. Susan sees the keys and grabs the one for Stacy's house.
After a wardrobe makeover, Renee and Bree hit the clubs. It's hopping but Renee calls it dead. They spy Keith at the end of the bar. He looks sad. Renee goes in, even though Bree says he has a girlfriend. Bree asks the bartender if he knows Keith and what is going on with him. The bartender informs Bree that Stephanie dumped him and that's why he's there drowning his sorrows. Bree goes to the ladies room and flips her dress so the plunging back is now the plunging neckline and lets her hair down. Keith sees Bree approach and thinks she looks great. He's leaving saying he has to work early for a strict boss. Bree then runs into Renee who says she's going home with him. Bree asks her not to go and Renee realizes Bree likes him. Bree won't admit this so Renee takes off.
Bree waits outside her house with a golf club. She calls Keith and claims she has an emergency. She then proceeds to whack off her sprinkler heads. He comes over and wonders why someone would do something like this. She apologizes for calling him so late. He says he wasn't doing anything special. She invites him over for dinner. He wonders if it's a date. She agrees it is. 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The next morning Stacy leaves and Susan goes in and disables her vacuum.
Out on the street, Beth hails over Mrs. McCluskey. Beth asks why the ladies don't like her husband. Karen McCluskey tells Beth that they still think that Paul is a murderer. Beth says that Paul was exonerated and Mrs. McCluskey tells her "yes... for Felicia Tillman", not her annoying and nosy sister, Martha Hubbard, who was found strangled in the woods nearly 10 years ago and the case was never solved. Beth wonders if everybody still thinks that Paul killed Martha Hubbard, and McCluskey says "yes".
Meanwhile, Susan tunes into Stacy's show and watches as her vacuum spews dust in her face. She then turns on her own webcam and starts her show. Stacy barges in, covered in dust. They start to fight, in front of the webcam. Of course this wrestling contest is a big hit. Maxine arrives and says they're off camera and to roll left. Susan stops the broadcast and Maxine didn't realize it wasn't a bit. She chides Stacy but points out the bit was very popular.
Renee comes over and calls Bree on her BS and says no one steals a man out of her bed. She says she's been looking for a new hobby and taking Bree down is now going to be it. Bree tells her to "bring it on".
Stacy confronts Susan in the laundry room and apologizes and explains she freaked when she didn't get her bonus check. Stacey claims that she is saving up money to move back home. Susan says she noticed nice things in her apartment. Stacy says Susan knows how it is to want a little splurge. They both vow to be done doing this by the end of the year. Susan asks how long she's been doing racy web cam performances, and Stacy says "six years". Susan comes home and asks if they can stay home for their anniversary. Mike has no problem with not suiting up but wonders why she changed her mind about going out. Susan says they should save the money and celebrate with a fancy dinner when they move back home.
Meanwhile, Paul asks Beth what the neighbors are saying about him. She mentions the Martha Hubber murder scuttlebutt, and Paul naturaly denies killing Martha Hubber. Beth says that she belives him, and that she fell in love with him before that anyway. Beth tells Paul that even if he is lying to her about being a killer, she's always going to be on his side and tells him to remember that.
Tom sees Carlos and he looks depressed. Carlos says it's been an intense couple of weeks. Tom offers to share his medical marijuana. They go in Tom's garage and Carlos breaks the news that his marijuana is oregano. Carlos says someone must have switched it. Tom realizes it had to be Lynette. He confronts her and she admits it. He says it isn't funny. She says it's a little funny. Tom gets very upset and says he's glad she enjoys making a fool of him. Lynette says it proved to her that he got happy on his own and that she didn't think medication was the answer. Tom tells her not to try and justify her actions as a master plan. She says it wasn't one that for some reason while he was "high on oregano" he was able to let go and be happy. She apologizes. He says she's evil and he should've expected it but he seems okay.
Bob calls Gaby with the news that he found the other family who took in her biological daughter. He asks if she's still sure she wants to do it. She says "yes". She calls Juanita in and does make-up with her. She marvels at how grown up she is. Gaby tells Juanita that she will be going to college in 10 years and probally get married. Juanita says she doesn't want to get married and leave Carlos and Gaby. Gaby tells her no matter what happens she will always love her to the moon and back.
Carlos comes home and Bob tells him that he needs to sit down with him and Gaby since he just found and called the family with the news about the baby switch years ago, and it got pretty intense. Carlos is totally confused. In the bedroom, Juanita and Gaby play supermodel when Carlos comes in and says he just spoke to Bob. They send Juanita out and Carlos yells at Gaby for going behind his back and contacted the family who has their biological daughter. Gaby says she need to know if her real daughter is okay. Carlos says "what if they want Juanita back?" Gaby admits that she doesn't seem to have given this real possibility a thought. Carlos says if this ends badly, if Juanita is taken away from them and their real daughter whom they never knew shows up, he and Gaby are done.
