To call this pandering is an understatement. Make no mistake, these are real issues. But this is like someone googled "top ten feminist issues", gave it to a twelve-year-old, and said "Here. Cram these into an episode". All semblance of plot or point is gone. It's honestly hard to cover everything that's wrong with this without listing them off in bullet form.
I was legitimately excited to see Alex Borstein guest-starting in this. I'm a huge fan, and she's been great in pretty much everything she's ever done (Family Guy, Ms Marisel, etc). But this was such a waste of real talent. They wasted her on plot points that went nowhere and had no particular reason to exist in the first place. Especially if you're going to make an episode focused on feminist issues, why have your guest star fall for the male main character for no particular reason? The plot was already complete nonsense, how could an infatuation contribute to it? It's like they tried to do one thing, failed miserably, and wound up catering to every stereotype in every cheesy movie ever made.
Season 2 was already pretty terrible, this finished it for me. I might actually rewatch season 1, but if they're not even going to bother writing, I'm not wasting my time. I watched the preceding episodes in a little over a week, and it's now been months since I watched this atrocity. I won't be back.
