The threads come together in this episode of Walker.
Serano (Henderson Wade) almost escapes justice, but in the end doesn't.
A thrilling car chase--well edited with a perfect score--proves his demise.
Which leaves me to wonder if the book is truly closed on his network, or if Stan's warning last week to look for the bad guys amidst the good might still hold sway.
Denise (Amara Zaragoza) is shown as innocent but "sleeping with the enemy." And the ending makes me feel for her, not truly knowing who to trust. (Cordell, of course, Denise. Wise up.)
The B-plot of an open mic night sounded dull, but turned into me actively appreciating the talent of the young actors music (Kale Culley, Cameron Vitosh) And I'm very thankful it didn't turn into a repeat of last season's star-crossed/bad boy lover, substituting Colton for Trevor.
Stella (Violet Brinson) might have finally picked a good guy.
Shout out also to Coby Bell (James) and Jeff Pierre (Trey), whose scenes at the station help some real impact. Also for Trey remembering to come over and help Bonham feed the stock. (Ongoing character relationships, A+)
