This episode was good overall, I think. What I don't like is it's another filler episode. This was essentially a continuation from the episode titled "twin destinies". And they made it a 2 part episode so you get 2 filler episodes for the price of one! There is one thing that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Why did they stop studying the drone? They had the drone on the ship this whole time and it was still in one piece instead of being completely disassembled to find out more about it? They knew they would encounter the drones again in the future so one would think they would be trying to learn all they can about them.

Another Excellent Episode

The Team find a planet inhabited by there ancestors who arrived 2000 years ago. Discovering it was the team they previously thought had died in the star-gate they discover the people living there are from another planet called novas where young and the survivors of the alternate reality landed and thus thrived ( Part 1 of 2.

The crew discover that a rift was caused between the crew and that political tensions arose. Having been tracked to the planet by the drones they reverse their decision to leave the colonists and take them with them to novas. On arriving they find that the planet is dead due to a super volcano creating a nuclear winter like state on the planet.

SGU is without a doubt one of the best sci-fi series in decade. There are just so many interesting plot lines and there is always mystery present, which is just great. Viewers must keep asking themselves this questions: who made the drones? what is hidden message all about? Where are all Novas people? And that's something that definitely makes SGU superior to Stargate Atlantis, and I even dare to say SG-1. I know that SGU was canceled due to horrible ratings and I don't blame Sy-Fy, because I think that space sci-fi on TV is in huge crisis at the moment.

So, let's talk about episode. Episode was just perfect. Great drama, fantastic action, mystery, interesting plot line and great acting. I also think it was very funny Rush being the demon and Futura :D The kino videos from 2000 years were great too. I am looking forward to see what happened to Novas people. And I know that remaining episodes will end SGU with blast.

Stargate that survive black hole blasts, planet explosion, spaceship explosion, survive there for a million year could not take a little drone shooting? How stupid, the writer got water in his head?
