One thing fans will always say about The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss’ team is that they ride for their boss. The most famous face of the bunch is DonJuan Clark. Aside from him working as Burruss’ general manager of her business affairs, he’s gone head-to-head with some of her co-stars to protect her good name, and fans haven’t always been kind to him on social media. But Clark is more than just what he does for Burruss. He had a successful career before meeting and working with her full-time and also had business dealings outside of her.

BravoCon is back.
The fan experience, taking place Oct. 14-16 at the Javits Center in New York City, is returning for the first time since its inaugural edition in 2019.
With over 140 “Bravolebrities” set to participate in over 60 live events, BravoCon will shine a spotlight on the network’s top series. The casts from multiple cities in “The Real Housewives” franchise will turn out en masse — with a notable absence of Lisa Rinna from the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” panel. Rinna, who’s had a difficult time on the current 12th season of “Beverly Hills” — both on screen, as she’s mourned the death of her mother, and on social media as the season has aired — participated in BravoCon in 2019, but as of yet won’t return this year. Nor will “Beverly Hills” cast member Diana Jenkins be on the panel, which includes Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Crystal Minkoff,...

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” opened doors and now Cynthia Bailey says she’s putting in the work to break through in Hollywood.
Bailey said goodbye to “Rhoa” in 2021. Since then she’s been adding to her acting resume and will next be seen on Season 2 of AllBlk anthology series “Terror Lake Drive.” The new season is titled “Terror Lake Drive: Single Black Female” and premieres on June 23.
As a Black woman over age 50, Bailey admits she feared Hollywood might not be welcoming.
“When I walked away from ‘Housewives,’ I’m a woman of a certain age, I’m a Black woman, who just turned 55 years old in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house this year. This is a young industry, the entertainment industry is pretty much for young people, for the most part. So there was a little bit of doubt in my mind, like, ‘Oh, wow, I hope this works out,...

Kandi Burruss returns to Bravo Sunday night with a new reality series that goes behind the scenes of her newest Atlanta restaurant — Old Lady Gang, or Olg for short. “Kandi & The Gang” follows Burruss, her husband and business partner Todd Tucker, and a cast of characters from her own life, as they work together to make Olg a successful Southern eatery that serves up classic dishes. But, with Burruss’ mom, Mama Joyce, and her aunts Nora and Bertha, weighing in, she has to find a way to balance work and family.
As a longtime member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast, Burruss is certainly no stranger to drama, and based on the teaser trailer Bravo released for her new show, that’s certainly what’s on the menu for the new series.
To get a little more intel on exactly what we can expect, TheWrap hopped on a...
