This 16-minute retrospective documentary covers some pretty interesting and informative ground on the making of "Lust in the Dust." Tab Hunter talks about how he developed the project which was originally titled "The Reverend and Rosie." Producer James C. Katz reveals that he recommended Paul Bartel to direct the film. Moreover, we also learn that Chita Rivera was originally considered for the Lainie Kazan role, Edith Massey auditioned to play Big Ed, it snowed on the first day of shooting, the movie was shot in May and June, and Divine had trouble with the extreme desert heat and would fall asleep during his morning make-up sessions. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
