The messed-up machinations of bored, oversexed stepsiblings Kathryn Merteuil and Sebastian Valmont aren’t quite as shocking in 2014 as they were when Cruel Intentions was released on March 5, 1999. (Blame Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, and a zillion other glitzy/scandalous imitators.)
That said, Cruel Intentions is still an enormously entertaining teen movie, even 15 years (gulp) after its initial release — thanks to an uncommonly sharp script, a killer soundtrack, and, most importantly, an impeccable cast, which featured future Oscar winners and future Sharknado stars alike. Well, one of each, but you get the picture. Whoever headed up this franchise had a...

Joshua Jackson has more than a little insight into how Season 5 of "Fringe" will go down.
In honor of Comic-Con -- where Jackson famously revived his "Dawson's Creek" character Pacey Witter in "Pacey-Con" in 2010 -- the "Fringe" actor told THR that he knows exactly how the supernatural series will end.
"This year, Joel Wyman, who is our executive producer, has been kind of shockingly forthcoming, because our show is usually pretty impenetrable," Jackson said. "But this is the last year, and I guess it's a new leaf. He was like, 'I want everybody engaged. I want everybody to know exactly what they're doing.'"
"Fringe," which premiered on Fox in 2008, stars Jackson, Anna Torv and John Noble and centers on the FBI's "Fringe Division," which investigates events surrounding a parrellel universe. While fans would love a few details from the all-knowing Jackson, he's staying relatively tight-lipped.

The quartet of former "Dawson's Creek" stars -- Joshua Jackson, Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams -- have been teasing fans of the former WB teen drama with the possibility of a reunion for a while.
Former nay-sayer Joshua Jackson, who played Pacey on the show, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that a "Dawson's Creek" reunion is still a possibility, even if it's not a strong one. "Well, we killed the show so I don't think that's ever going to happen," Jackson told THR. "Never say never. If I'm out of work for enough years, absolutely. We'll be old and gray and nasty by the time (that happens)."
Jackson told The Guardian in June that "'Dawson's Creek' was [his] college experience" and in 2010, the "Fringe" star held Pacey-Con, a "Dawson's Creek" alternative to Comic-Con.
But around that same time, Jackson told MTV, "Pacey's done his time,...

Katie Holmes wanted to a do a "Dawson's Creek" reunion. The problem? According to Us Weekly, Tom Cruise nixed the idea.
Could that change now that Holmes has filed for divorce from Cruise? A source told the magazine that Holmes wanted to reunite with her former co-stars James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson to have "fun" and "reconnect with her fans," but Cruise vetoed the plan and urged Holmes to leave the past in the past.
In November 2011, Holmes told Robin Roberts she would return to the "Creek."
“It would be fun," Holmes said on “Good Morning America.” "I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories. A really great group of people.”

Is the Capeside crew headed back to the creek? Michelle Williams wouldn't mind.
In a conversation with Vulture at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of "Take This Waltz," Williams joked that she's waiting for current "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" star James Van Der Beek to call her to get a "Dawson's Creek" reunion going.
"He [Van Der Beek] could totally ask!" Williams, who played Jen Lindley on the show, said. "I've always said, I'm totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows, so we can do that."
This isn't the first time Williams has suggested a reunion for "Dawson's Creek," which chronicled the dramatic lives of a group of teenagers on The WB from 1998-2003. This past November, the actress said she would do it "in a heartbeat."
"I would have to go back as a ghost though," Williams told Ryan Seacrest. "Because poor Jen Lindley died. But yes!"

Now that Peter no longer exists on Fox’s Fringe, some actors thought that maybe the show was looking for a replacement, and decided to throw their hats in the ring to seize Joshua Jackson’s role.
Fringe Video Q&A: Anna Torv Tackles the Peter Question and Her Own Season 4 Dilemma
The producers even opened up the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel with a video of familiar faces auditioning to play Peter — from SNL‘s Bobby Moynihan, Heroes‘ Zachary Quinto, Parks and Rec‘s Ben Schwartz (using sides from Dawson’s Creek, natch) and Lost‘s Rebecca Mader to Damon Lindelof,...

James Van Der Beek wins the Internet today! Behold Van Der Memes, the go-to spot for new — and new-and-improved! — Dawson Leery .gifs. Hooooly moly, it is great. Attention, famous people: This is exactly how to handle being the butt of an Internet joke.
My favorite of the Vandermeems is baby face, because… what?
Katie Holmes: Super, super famous. Michelle Williams: Very famous, and also highly regarded. Joshua Jackson: Pretty famous still, and also beloved, thanks in part to Pacey-Con. Now James Van Der Beek is movin’ on up, too. Kerr Smith is great on Life Unexpected (someone!

Dawson's Creek is so in right now. First, Joshua Jackson showed us something we didn't even know we wanted, but now we know we can't live without. We're talking, of course, about Pacey-Con. Well, James Van Der Beek isn't about to let Pacey get the girl and the hilarious viral video. No, sir... Good ol' Dawson has just emerged as the star of a new Funny or Die video promoting a website targeted for internet message board enthusiasts. If you've ever happened across a comments section online, you've probably seen the crying Dawson icon that jump-started James' campaign. So, we gotta ask…which Dawson's Creek alum did it better? Pacey or Dawson? We don't have Joey...

James Van Der Beek warned us it was coming on Twitter on Monday Dec. 3, tweeting, "@funnyordie has just informed me that they've dubbed this first week of 2011 as #Vanderweek. Be afraid... be very afraid." Still, we were not prepared for what the combined efforts of Dawson Leery and Funny or Die brought us: "Vandermemes," a.k.a. the greatest video ever.
You know how many, many people have made fun of Van Der Beek's crying face from the Season 3 finale of "Dawson's Creek"? Guess what? He is totally in on the joke and is willing to make fun of that really, really uncomfortable face all in the name of a few laughs. What a guy.
"The more I saw it in website comment sections mocking the sadness of others, the more I realized what the Internet was really demanding: More intense emotional close-ups of my face." With that goal in mind,...
