Current WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian appeared, as promised, at last night’s Tna Slammiversary pay-per-view. He turned up under his former name Christian Cage and was present to announce the number one moment in Tna Wrestling’s history as voted on by the fans.
The winning moment was Sting’s return to face Jeff Jarrett at January 15th, 2006. If you are looking for a link why Christian might have a connection to this, he did team with Sting to face Jarrett and Monty Brown at Tna Final Resolution.
Hulk Hogan introduced Christian last night, who came down to the ring in a white dress shirt and jeans. He was warmly received by fans with a loud “welcome back” chant as he got on the mic. He said that he had been asked all week whether the rumours were true that he would appear at Slammiversary… and a Yes! chant breaks out.

Back from a short hiatus with this Impact recap and Tonight Sting has given us a World Heavyweight Title Rematch to open the show!
Tna World Title Match
Five Minute Overtime Rematch from Final Resolution
Aj Styles vs. Robert Roode (Champion)
Is it just me or does everyone’s entrance in Tna start with that tilted camera long shot? Here’s our five minutes on the clock and Roode immediately tries to run down the clock by getting out of there. Styles follows him out and rolls him back in, covering him with a cross body. Hard whips and a back body drop. This match is One fall, not Iron Man like at the PPV. They exchange side headlocks and kick outs. Aj Rolls him up for two. We’re at three minutes left and Roode wants a time out. Ref for some reason holds Aj back,...
