- Contains several non-explicit sex scenes throughout the series as well as frank verbal references to sexual activity and/or desire.
- One storyline revolves around a 40 year old man having an affair with a 16 year old girl. In one scene, it is implied that they engage in mutual masturbation.
- Contains some mild nudity (including bare breasts and buttocks). Such instances include that of a woman breastfeeding her son. A man appears to be masturbating in a few scenes and his bare back is clearly visible in one instance. Other instances of implied masturbation are completely obscured by focusing on the character's face.

- A man abuses his wife by grabbing her by the hair and threatening her. In a flashback sequence, the wife is shown to be bruised and battered and crying.
