Dating Apps and Corporate Espionage
shelbythuylinh19 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Really it is about a well meaning CEO that seems to care about the safety and well being of the dating app now called "Mr. Right Forever" but deep down he steals credit away from his CFO and close friend.

The CFO and her Goddaughter play into this, and how that the former is accused of a federal crime of corporate espionage and how the scumbag CEO is only in it for fame and fortune. But the once close knit work community and family comes unglued.

And the CFO's Goddaughter goes on a date with the new SVU detective Velasco as she tries to blame him for pushing her down the stairs and getting drunk. As the new detective comes under scrutiny for a brief bit. As she is hospitalized.

But leave it to Benson and the rest of SVU to have his back there.

Mona Lisa Womens

It is a story about what women want.

The story begins about dating, dating apps, women's safety in apps.

However, the suspicion spreads that the women are involved in a corporate rivalry conspiracy. With the involvement of Velasco, the godmother, the audience is accustomed to this idea. But anger eventually reveals the truth.

All paths of svu standard style are followed. With tough claims, great defenses, and plot twists, court swords are drawn.

It is a gripping episode, although the ending is not surprising. Mr. Wright gave a good performance.

The result is Dating's a minefield.

Soundtrack is a great choice. "I wanna be Mona Lisa"

Sorry If It

Just not a strong SVU here. Not the right kind of villain picked and way too basic and poorly written a story.

This is definitely one to skip if you find yourself short on time.

You can't dsregard

The show continues to believe the judge can tell the jury to disregard and not consider testimony.

It's still a good show and they can take liberties in the court room but some times they go too far. I'd love to see the script be tighter.

Disgusting

Warning: Spoilers
The entire episode is disgusting to watch.

The show thinks its helping victims, it's not, if anything I would think its stopping more women from coming forward in case what's portrayed in the show happens to them.

The fact the result works in the end is irrelevant Going through the court proceedings for most, already traumatised victims, would be too much. Especially with the vile lawyer character played by Julian Elijah Martinez using every trick to victim blame possible.
