Siskel & Ebert (1992)
Season 6, Episode 42
"They'll Do It Every Time: Part Two" was a special episode that was done on the show to point at certain things that the critics are getting tired of in movies. This could be the "shock" ending in horror movies, the expensive apartments shown in movies that the characters couldn't afford and even goofs in various movies like THE TERMINATOR and TWINS (picking on Arnold?). Other subjects include how people run in movies yet they're never out of breathe and we also hear about buddy pictures where we have to sit through the two saying they won't be buddies only to become buddies. Overall this isn't my favorite special that Siskel and Ebert did but there were a few funny moments. In all reality, yes, a lot of this stuff is predictable but at the same time wouldn't it be rather boring if we had to wait a couple minutes for a character to catch his breathe after a big chase?
