- An American Adventure of Peace, Love and Politics. A congressman invites a select few people to a dinner party for his eighteen year old autistic son. With his campaign manager at his side the plan is to use this occasion to better ascertain the pulse of the people in preparation for his forthcoming reelection bid. Through the course of the discussion and the dinner we see revealed the nature of both the host and his guests where the bigger story is everyone's looking to love and be loved and to live in peace. - The Congressmans Dinner - A 21st Century American Discussion Of Peace, Love and Politics
The movie was created as a (fictional) dinner with a US Congressman. The idea being that this design could well serve as a platform to present what may be more sensible, non-partisan, less costly and a greater majority of the people desired, adjustments to current governmental thinking, planning and decision making. The hope being that these considerations might become part of the present day political discussion.

The Hosts Donald, a Congressman who is running for reelection and Benny his campaign manager.
The Guests Marilyn, the Congressmans ex-wife, Tom, a restaurant manager, Jane, a college student and also attending is Franklin, The Congressmans autistic son.
The Discussion: Peace - Addressing an opportune and popular paradigm shift, as manifest by the Arab Spring, Occupy Movement and the Global Peace Initiative, the movie presents how we (the US) can successfully end the War on Terror and introduces a modern day pathway to the actualized creation of world peace.
Love Applications of the modern day idea of shifting from an absolute Us vs. Them based model in regard to governmentally thinking, planning, acting and enacting are outlined along with why support for the now scientifically, historical and even spiritually supported model based on community and cooperation makes sense.
Politics Although often agreeing with the positions presented to him, the Congressman initially rejects the more common (sense) platform outlined citing the difficulties in getting reelected. Then when ultimately challenged to lead the question is what will he do?
The movie is directed by Omar Chraibi originally from Morocco with a Degree in Cinema from the Sorbonne University, his movies have won numerous awards internationally including three Best Feature Film Awards. His actors have won five Best Actor Awards and The Congressmans Dinner likewise well showcases his skill to move each cast member to action even with a dialogue driven feature film.
