The great thing about this episode, which sets it apart from almost anything else that I can think of, is that we begin & end it without ever knowing exactly how or why they got into the situation they find themselves in, yet it doesn't seem even remotely strange or - with respect to the suspension of all previously known values that is the universe of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - even hard to explain. We are at this stage - assuming we've been following their progress - so familiar with the way they think & argue & seize upon some idea to pursue the point of absurdity that meeting the gang in some walk in closet in some stranger's home they've illegally entered seems ....well, fairly par for the course.

An explanation, but what we can infer from the dialogue, would simply be superfluous

My God, I haven't laughed so hard with this series since S4,E8! What a sensational episode! It starts with a feeling of getting into a moving car and soon you get used to the driver's madness: simply amazing.

Best episode in 7 seasons so far

This is easily the best episode I've seen in 7 seasons. The way it starts, the way everyone is acting, the whole situation, the Dennis realization that all their plans are not thought and always go bad, how their plan is revolving around the wife's plan to run away, how they freely move around the house and how they finally decide to get out and stop hiding only to see the "southerners". Simple amazing writing and acting.

My overall rating of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"'s Season 7: 3/10

I've not yet given anything a 10/10 on IMDb but this episode was close to scoring it - on review, I decided that it could've been better without a couple of gags that fell flat for me, but I'd certainly rate it like a 9+, if I could. In this episode, the fear of consequences, the straight-man behaviour from Dennis (and some straight-woman from Dee), the self-contained structure, the jump straight into the action and just brilliant comedic writing all come together to make an episode that seems tailor-made for me to enjoy. Overall, the jokes are hilarious and imaginative, the acting is brilliant - and so this episode shines brightly above the bog of most of the rest of the season.
