Do I have quibbles? Of course. Viewers do.
But the episode was jam packed with resolutions to some of the major story lines this season. And most importantly, the Walkers got back their ranch. So the adrenaline rush is real.
Add in a side helping of Gale and Denise having their come-uppance, giving Cordell and Abby the closure they deserved? I'm in love.
Such a great series of scenes from writers Fricke and Fahey. Emotion. Characters. Dialogue. Power.
It would have been nice to have more time to give the major plot points space to breathe, but I'm really not sure what or how could have been tightened. At all.
Good thing director (Steve Robin) had things well in hand. Pacing and cinematography A+.
Of course, it comes down to the cast and crew.
And of course, this group delivered one and all.
So, again, do I have a couple of very minor quibbles? Yes. But it was such a good episode, that doesn't matter at all.
Now. Who. Will. Save. Cordell.
