This episode got the gratuitous violence out of its system in the first scene. After that, the episode is about Quagmire getting close to Meg in an attempt to bed her. Peter does everything he can to make sure that never comes to fruition.
Brian, Stewie and Chris are barely if ever heard from in this episode. It's almost strictly a Quagmire, Meg, Lois, and Peter episode. There are a couple good jokes here and there. Peter has most of them. Quagmire's methodical seduction of Meg is pretty creepy, which is exactly what you want from Quagmire.
Peter actually plays the part of a concerned parent in this episode which is an interesting dimension to explore. And the episode does fly by rather quickly.
