I've got a ridiculous yet fun short film for you to watch today called Epic Clown Fight. And well... it centers on two clowns who get into a martial arts battle at a birthday party when another party clown tries to move in on another clown's turf. It turns into absolute chaos!
The short comes from Beat Down Boogie’s Matthew Sumner and Brian Lee who are best known for the cosplay music videos that they released from the conventions that they attend. They do some really fun stuff with this video so I hope you enjoy it!

One thing about League of Legends, you can see a ton of influential material within the game that was no doubt pulled or modified from other games, movies, or comics that have come before. So long as they’re original however that’s always allowed since it brings a new level of imagination and creative spark to the cosplay world. League of Legends was inspired by World of Warcraft, and it shows, but there are a lot of other elements that seem to pull from a much wider source. The result though is entirely unique and it is nothing short of awesome.

Beat Down Boogie has created and released a spectacularly cool Star Wars fan-film called "The Blind Jedi." The short was inspired by Akira Kurosawa and the Zatoichi Blind Swordsman series of films and it brings classic samurai action to the Star Wars universe.
I enjoyed this film, and the fight choreography is solid. I especially enjoyed the old school black and white feel. I don't recall ever seeing a black and white Star Wars fan film before, and it was pretty rad, especially with the whole samurai theme.
I'd love to see a samurai themed Star Wars movie one day. Remember that time there was a rumor that Zack Snyder was developing one? Anyway, I hope you enjoy this! ...

We have a couple videos here from Beat Down Boogie that highlights the cosplay awesomeness that they found at Emerald City Comicon. This is an event that I’ve never been to, but I’ve heard it’s a blast from people who have attended. In the videos below, you’re gonna feast your eyes on some impressive cosplay. No joke, almost everything you will see is top-notch quality stuff!
Emerald City Comicon has been one of the best-kept secrets in cosplay. The costumes are amazing and the Seattle setting is gorgeous. The attendees mostly come from Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver but Eccc is beginning to get attention from beyond the Pacific North West. ReedPOP (promoters of New York Comicon) recently took over Eccc and are expanding its promotion.

Beat Down Boogie has released their latest cosplay music video featuring some incredible cosplay at MAGFest 2016. MAGFest is a music and gaming festival that features a huge arcade, competitive gaming, music concerts, a game-focused film festival, and of course cosplayers paying tribute to their favorite characters. I’ve never been to this festival, but it looks like it would be a ton of fun.

We’ve posted several cosplay music videos over the years, but I don’t recall ever seeing one that focuses on kids. Beat Down Boogie has released a video that shows off some of the awesome child cosplay they’ve come across over the years. This is the next generation of cosplayers, and as you’ll see, some of their costumes are pretty damn impressive.

Tna Wrestling has dealt with all sorts of problems this year and now they have more to deal with because Lucha Underground has forced them to remove Hernandez from their roster, effective immediately. As a result, Tna has to heavily edit several weeks of shows that Hernandez appeared on because if they don’t, Lucha Underground will take legal action against them.
According to a report from PWInsider, Hernandez was not legally able to appear at Tna’s last tapings in June, even though he told them that he was free. He recently returned to Tna programming as part of the Beat Down Clan stable with Mvp and Kenny King, but now all of those segments have to be removed from the show.

Tna’s Kenny King has one of the most unique resumes in entertainment beyond pro wrestling. He has been a child actor, college football player, reality star on WWE’s Tough Enough show, and yes, even a Chippendales’ dancer. Every opportunity has made the 33-year-old who he is today. These days King has found success on Impact Wrestling in the Beat Down Clan, a faction that also includes Mvp and Low Ki, Lashley, Homicide and Samoa Joe were members of the Bdc in the past. “All of us are legitimate friends,” King said. “We travel together, drink together and text message each other. … Continue reading →

Samoa Joe is a free agent. After announcing on Tuesday that he has left Tna Wrestling due to a failure to come to a new contract agreement, he is now free to pursue other opportunities. As soon as the news came out, WWE fans started getting excited because they think that Joe can finally go work for WWE finally time.
It’s a little known fact that Joe actually worked in WWE before. It wasn’t under contract, though. He wrestled against Essa Rios on a taped episode of Jakked in March of 2001. It was something of a tryout for him at a time right before WWE bought WCW, so they didn’t sign him. If you're following along with what Marvel Comics is doing with Spider-Man right now, you'll know that writer Dan Slott is in the middle of a centuries-spanning arc called Spider-Verse that involves every iteration of the Spider-Man character to ever exist - and that includes the version of the character that appeared on the bizarre, Marvel-approved television show in Japan in the late 1970s. You have to see this to believe it. Check out a quick trailer below.
Spider-Man wielding a machine gun? Someone named Professor Monster? What the heck is going on here? This is totally nuts, and I sort of love it. Anyway, Marvel has made the first and the seventh episode of the show available on its website for you to check out right now if you're in the mood to see a whacked-out Spidey controlling a Megazord. We've been seeing a ton of cosplay music videos recently because of all of the great geek conventions that have taken place over the last month. There's a fun new web-series that has been released called Slash Up. The series comes from Dead Pixel, and the first episode pits Sarah Connor from The Terminator films against Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise. Before they get into the actual showdown where we get to see the short film of the two characters battling each other to the death, they provide a breakdown of the strengths and weaknesses of each character. There's a similar web-series out there called Superhero Beat Down, but the difference with this one is that they throw in a classic horror icon. These vs. videos are a really fun idea, and I hope they are able to keep it up. The group is trying to get funding for their second episode…. "Freddy Kruger Vs. Neo." If that's something you want to see get made then head on over to their Kickstarter page.

Previously on: The big advancement toward "Wrestlemania" was the masterful attack of Daniel Bryan by Triple H. It was truly one of the best moments of buildup for the big show we've seen yet. There wasn't a ton else to note last week. The Shield are babyfaces now, though. So it looks like their breakup is on the backburner. It's probably a good idea, that unit is just to good to separate.
The big news: After now appearing on "WWE Raw" last week, The Undertaker was in the house. It was the first time this year he brought out the old druid and coffin gimmick the character is known for. It all followed Heyman and Lesnar in the ring, talking about how Undertaker's days were numbered.

Over the past few months, we witnessed amazing fan-generated content rack up millions of views and get national attention. From the recent Wonder Woman fan film to the latest episode of Super Hero Beat Down, creators are spending large amounts of time and money working on intellectual property that they cannot monetize. And that fan-driven content has always done incredibly well on YouTube. One of the first big hits of the genre on the platform was Batman: Dead End, released in 2003. One of the next was Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, which Warner Bros. and Machinima then turned into a official web series. Mk:r is actually one of the few examples of fan-created content that made the transition into an officially approved and financed series. That trajectory has seldom been repeated. Content created by fans with the use of intellectual property they don't own generally has a very limited shelf life on YouTube.

Remember the '90s? Sure you do. The music was grungier. The Marky Marks were Markier. You had to choose between your phone and the Internet. And the ponytails were occasionally sideways.
Well, if you somehow missed the decade due to an interference in the time-space continuum — or you just happen to be really young — we've assembled 15 movie clips that best represent what life, or at least movies, were like during that glorious decade. A '90s time capsule, if you will. So sit back, relax and throw on your favorite starter jacket.

Here's the Inception, Matrix, Dragon Con cosplay mashup you've been waiting for… some of you, anyway. If you want to ogle a bunch of nerds dancing to Fissunix and Imprint, this is your video. The clip highlights the best and craziest costumes of the convention, which just ended a few weeks ago, but it also gave us a moment to imagine a remix of Christopher Nolan's movie with Luigi from Super Mario Bros. and other pop culture, game-centric characters. Beat Down Boogie made the clip. See if you can spot all the film references, including Sharknado man. Syfy movies count as real movies, right?  ...

With new set photos from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" being released on a near-weekly basis, our spider-sense has been tingling like crazy for the highly-anticipated sequel. Last week, we got our first glimpse of a pre-cgi Paul Giamatti fully decked out in his Rhino gear but leaving much to the imagination. Before that, we got a great look at Jamie Foxx in his Electro attire. It's no wonder we've got "Spider-Man" on the brain!
Joss Whedon's "S.H.I.E.L.D." may be the latest live-action Marvel TV series, but it is by no means the first. In fact, back in the late 70's there was a live-action "Spider-Man" TV series! In Japan!

Mma is now The fastest growing sport worldwide with specialist ‘fight clubs’ springing up all over. As an indication of the sport’s enduring appeal, people are happy to take up the full contact sport just for fitness alone these days, with pounding the treadmill at your local gym becoming less appealing, especially to the younger generation.
Of course for the truly gifted and most dedicated of athletes the path of an Mma fighter can lead to the pinnacle of combat sports and the bright lights of the the Ufc.
I have been lucky enough to interview one such star - the best light-heavyweight Mma fighter across Europe in Richie ‘The Guvnor’ Knox. Wanna see some reckless idiot try to run from the cops ... smash into multiple vehicles ... and then get Beat Down by cops when he tries to run??? Well, you're gonna love this. The Lapd just laid the smack down on some moron who decided to lead cops on a high speed chase through South L.A. After cops used a spike strip to blow out the guy's tires, the dummy ditched his van and tried...

What the hell is Katsucon 2013? Good question, because I have no idea. According to their Facebook page, it’s “an annual 3-day fan convention for multicultural enthusiasts and entertainment produced by Katsucon Entertainment, Inc.” Yeah, I had to look that up. Who knew such things even existed? This is the 19th annual get-together, so I guess it’s been existing for quite some time. See, these are the things I would have totally been into when I was in college … if only I knew they, well, existed. Anyhoo, for guys like me who missed out on stuff like this, there are lads like Beat Down Boogie that go to these events and come back with excellent footage of cosplayers in their natural habitat. Check out what all those crazy kids were doing with their free time while you were doing, well, other things with your free time...

It's official: The world's favorite 'shroom-eating plumber is now a Matrix-level action hero. A new, independent web series called Mario Warfare has taken the colorful world of the Mushroom Kingdom and turned it into a dark, gritty war zone. The series, which recently debuted on the YouTube channel of production company Beat Down Boogie, has already received over 300,000 for the first episode alone. When you feast your eyes upon Mario Warfare's violent, sleek, inventive goodness, you'll understand why. While the series could use a few more homages to the original video game, Mario Warfare understandably suffers from the Batman problem: it is difficult to make a dark and gritty adaptation of a source material that is so darn silly. Christopher Nolan solved this issue by making his Batman films so darn good and giving viewers a good reason to suspend disbelief. Mario Warfare attempts to use a similar strategy, utilizing...

Craziest Didn’t-See-That-Coming: Unlike most shows which have an unfortunate habit of stringing viewers along until the the end of a season to drop a bombshell of such magnitude, Homeland didn’t waste anytime by revealing [spoiler alert] to Saul in… wait for it… episode two!
Sudsiest Engagement: In a twist right off of The Young & The Restless, a promo for The Houstons confirms that Bobbie Kristina is engaged to her adopted brother, Nick Gordon. ??Worst Timing: Eric Stoltz booked a gig on Made In Jersey… which, surprising nobody, became the first new show of the fall season to be axed.
Best Case for a Renewal: Dismal ratings for The CW’s pricey Monday night combo of 90210 and Gossip Girl barely outdrew the little-promoted-and-did-we-mention-far-more-affordable summer season that was The L.A. Complex!
Best Taunt: “Hit me,” said Revenge’s Victoria to estranged hubby Conrad. “This is your one and only shot, so do it like a man,...

After being fired from The CW’s bow back in May and zipping through the air (including a trip to Comic-Con) all summer long, Arrow lands on your TV this Wednesday at 8/7c, with Stephen Amell personifying the crimefighting vigilante aka buff billionaire Oliver Queen.
The set-up for this iteration of the DC Comics character: After being stranded on a remote isle for five years after an ill-fated yachting trip that killed his father, Oliver returns to Starling City as someone who still presents himself as a large-living cad but by dark of night wages war on those who wrong others.

In this brand new teaser for Sons of Anarchy Season 5, we are shown a scenario that immediately seems unreal. And when I say “unreal,” what I mean is it seems as though the teaser should be taken more symbolically than literally of what is to come in the season. Immediately I get the sense that what we are seeing is some kind of dream, hence the very brown look given to the scene. This could be a dream someone like Jax (Charlie Hunnam) has or it could be purely for building hype, never to be shown in the context of the show itself. Either way, it doesn’t spell out good things for Jax.

When Sons of Anarchy returns this September with Season 5, the FX series will be putting its leading ladies – Katey Sagal and Maggie Siff – at odds in such a way that could end in a physical brawl and substance abuse. Now what could set these two on such rocky ground that a fistfight could seem very possible? It’s that age-old question: what’s the best way to raise a child? Is there even a right answer to that type of question? There’s no real “right” way, but there are a ton of wrong ways, so it really comes to down to the individual and their children. The same techniques that work for some won’t work for others. But try telling that to these proud women!

Here's a brutal face-off in which Batman and Wolverine fight each other to the death! This is actually a very well made short created by the Super Power Beat Down team, and it turned out to be a great battle. It's hard to root for one or the other because you like both the characters! But only one can walk away alive.
The web series takes two super powered legends and throw them into battle! The outcome is picked by the audience. Every month they release a new episode. The previously released a video in which Darth Vader takes on Gandalf, and Batmobile showdown.
Watch the Super Power Beat Down and let us know if you agree or disagree with the outcome! The fight begins around to 2:00 mark.

Well, sort of. Aaron and Sean Schoenke are the producers/directors of a series of fanmade short films that pits various superheroes from disparate franchises against one another. Basically, “The Deadliest Warrior” on a budget, but minus all those ridiculous comparisons like what would happen if a dude with a sword went up against a dude with a gun. Duh. In any case, “The Deadliest Warrior” has gotten incredibly dumb lately, so it’s about time someone replace them anyway. Here’s the official premise of Super Power Beat Down: The concept of the Spbd web series is to take two super powered legends and make them battle! Every month we will release a new episode, where viewers will be able to vote to determine the winner. The show is hosted by Marisha Ray, with two debaters, Damian Beurer and Andy Liegl. Together they battle with their sci-fi/fantasy...

No, its not Bale and Jackman punching it up (although they have previously had at eachother in Nolans "The Prestige"). This time the boys over at batinthesun.com have finally given us a bout to make any Cbm fans mouth water. Film maker Aaron Schoenke has previously given us such groundbreaking fan films as Batman: Legends, Batman: City of Scars and Batman: Seeds of Arkham, however this is his first time tackling a marvel character in the newest episode of Super Power Beat Down. Try not to sh#@ yourselves!

Poor, frail Ashley Tisdale was seen getting the snot beaten out of her on the set of Sons of Anarchy, and her co-star, Charlie Hunnam, had to step in and save her before things took a turn for the worse. Of course, all of this was staged, as Tisdale and Hunnam were filming scenes for the upcoming fifth season of Sons of Anarchy. In reality, Tisdale was in no danger whatsoever. But you can bet if this situation were real, a badass like Hunnam would be the guy to save the day from any thugs looking to hurt a sweetheart like Tisdale. He’s seriously tough. You couldn’t pay me enough money to go toe-to-toe with him.
