- The whole game is meant to be played stealthily. This involves sneaking around in the dark, dragging out silent takedowns, making your kills look like accidents.
- Certain assassinations can be executed to make them seem like accidents. For example; A robotic arm designed equipped with a weapon drilling into a man's torso, pulling people from windows, getting them set on fire, electrocuting them, etc.
- You can come up behind enemies and wrap your arm around their head to smother them. This will knock them unconscious. You can also snap their neck to kill them. While doing this with a crunch sound heard.
Profanity

- R - strong language is heard very often and has a multiple F bombs. The game is around a hundred or two hundred F bombs in the whole game.
- PG - 13 milder language is also used. For an example: shit, cock.
- PG - ass, bastard, bitch, son of a bitch, dick and crap.
- G - God, Jesus and hell can be heard.

- A man snorts cocaine.
- You see people drinking at the bar.
- Men smoke cigarettes, and cigars.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The game is more darker and dramatic, unlike previous installments such as Codename 47, Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money.
- Mission 4th Run For Your Life, where Agent 47 has to escape the library from the cops, might be intense as the protagonist's one wrong move makes the team calling for a backup.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The Rosewood level where it takes place at an orphanage, Wade and his goons murder most of the nuns offscreen. You can see the bloody corpses of the nuns through out the orphanage. The head nun of the orphanage is murdered by a gunshot and it is shown nearly the end of the level. This level might be upsetting to some people, especially for those who feel bad when good innocent people die.
