A series of satirical skits aimed at the inflated self-perception of modern Greeks.

A very funny series of satirical skits aimed at the inflated self-perception of modern Greeks and the resulting self-deception and paranoia. The underlying motif is that of an unspecified strict but benevolent entity called The Institution (To Idryma, in Greek) that aims to study and change the average Greek. This is political art at its best, aiming to change the way viewers see themselves rather than the way they vote. To some it may be irritating, to others it may seem like a sign of hope for a future with a better sense of humor. A rarity in Greek TV, where most comic shows make fun of someone else rater than the Greeks in general.
