Warning: Spoilers
It was easy to watch this episode, but I definitely won't call it a good finale. Not up there with all time bad ones, but such a letdown here. All we learned is that Regus is this mythical skeleton thing and there was no shocking twist or turn.

Elaine taking over as the new ruthless leader and inheriting most of Regus' behavior was probably the right move, but I kind of would appreciated something that set the tone for a potential season two.

Still, glad Amazon Prime Video gave us a fun workplace show and hopefully this is the first of more of a shift toward this kind of programming and less heavy stuff.

Music Saves It

From the bangin Kylie Minogue track, to doing it My Way... the best part about this episode is the music. Underline Themes of brainwashing in mind menial pollution are very apparent... however they don't come to fruition somehow someway those in control lose control. Not that I agree with losing control or was the consultant giving up control on purpose... Shattering a glass ceiling is one thing however shattering A glass floor everyone saw that coming maybe the most predictable season finale in the history since tiger king.... At least one thing was guaranteed and that was making sure gen Z and their jobs are absolute morons. This is an Another classic case of the novel did it better.

Beware!

I've never submitted a review on IMDB but after viewing this series I felt compelled sign up and make a comment. I've watched many questionable series and movies in the past but never one that rose to the occasion of requiring the criticism I put forward today. The overall scenario of implausability this series presents is just unimaginable. A company without any security, doors unlocked at all hours of the morning, no guards, no Human Resources department to oversee employees. A man, who is unable to go up and down stairs without assistance, barges in and claims to be a contract employee who takes over after the CEO is killed. A contract employee with no verifiable company authority. The employees accept this and allow him to take over. Computer rooms filled with cabinets of blinking lights which without and discernable reason appear white on occasion and sometimes red. Dialog with no purpose or rational reason for even existing; people staring at each other making unrealistic responses. Just a random collection of adolescent conversations. I can understand how unknown actors with limited recognition might accept a part, they need the money to live, but has Christoph Waltz really become so desperate to accept such a demeaning roll? Even he must recognize a script unworthy of his previously aknowledged talents, inspite of his most aggravating smile. Sometimes you just have to watch to the end just to see how this could possibly end. Won't be watching Season 2, God forbid there should be one; waisted enough of my life on this one.

Really Weak
Hitchcoc25 November 2023
I get it. The guy is supernatural. He can't be stopped. He just moves on. The guys at the firm get rid of him, but he just destroys someone else. I see that some think there will be a second season. I would hope not. There isn't one likable character in the whole show. Craig is a miserable drunk; Elaine is a climber who buckles any time she sees a chance to be a big shot. The elephant did show up. That is such a non-sequitur. There is no reason some poor elephant would affect anything. And then he is drugged and killed. Generally, these shows are pretty intriguing, but this one falls on its face.

Pure nonsense

It's been a long time since I've felt this utterly dissatisfied watching a season finale. There are no questions answered. There is no closure. There is no metaphor or allegory to be spotted in sight. Just mysteries upon mysteries with zero explanation as to how anything happened.

Audiences were strung along for 8 episodes trying to figure out what was going on, only to find out that the writers themselves have no idea either.

The worst part of all is that despite the lack of answers, I just don't crave a second season for questions to be answered. This whole season just felt like a complete waste of time, as if the writers wrote a whole bunch of "what ifs" on a whiteboard and scanned it into a script.

At least Christoph was entertaining, although I fear he has been typecasted into these quirky menacing villains now...
