It was a good episode!

Okay, to see this episode rated below 7, at the point I'm writing this, is really not the tea tbh

It was a good (talent) show! I must admit, I'm quite bored by queens using "Lip-sync to an original song" or lip-syncing in general as a talent. There is a lipsync every episode, so in my opinion it's more of a "demand" than a talent to lipsync on drag race. Of course you can be really good at it, but when the challenge is a Talent Show I'm expecting out side of the box talents, and not something you usually combine with a drag queen as you do with lipsyncs.

Saying that, the girls that lipsynced up on a really good show! Really happy for Monets win and Shea hands down had the best lipsync talent of the night - but I hoped for Monet and Raja to be in the top 2. I also disagreed with Yvie being in the "top", just found her performance a little underwhelming knowing what she can really do.

But now to the twist about the 3 stars thing, and why probaly this episode is rated this low. I agree that 3 stars is a lot, but considering that all the queens have slayed throughout the competition, I think it's fair to have a chance for all of them to reach the finale. I'm really sorry for Viv, because she had 3 wins, fair and square, but she is the only one with 3 wins that didn't make the top 4. Jaida got a star for free, and ended up with the same amount of wins as Shea, so you can't really be mad at that if you ask me. Raja also had 2 wins and Yvie only had 1. So again, the only queen I feel sorry for is Viv. And yeah, you can say it's production pushing some queens, or you could just enjoy the show lol

To round up, the lipsync was everythiiiiing - damn - gutted it wasn't a double win tho, they both ate. And the twist about having the two LaLaPaRuzas, got me really exicted because then all the queens are included in the finale <33.

An incredible episode

I'm not sure why everyone else is rating this episode so poorly. Yes it was very controversial to have the last challenge win be worth 3 while stars, but the top 4 was incredibly deserving of their spot and in the end, everyone got a spot in the finale in a special way. 10/10.

Good Episode with Unfortunate Twist

The talent show was really fun to watch. Monet, Shea, Raja, and Yvie were all my faves this week, but they were all great really. The Top 2 felt correct, and the lip sync was probably the best of the season!

However, the twist which gives 3 whole stars to each top queen was kind of unfair... for example, it took Trinity 10 episodes and 4 challenge wins to obtain 3 stars, and they just gave that out to two queens for winning the talent show. I would understand it being worth 2 stars as like a "last chance bonus", but giving out 6 stars in one episode was just too much. At the end of the day, the Top 4 might not have even changed anyway, but the 3 star twist seemed cheap and unnecessary.

10 Stars cuz Monét!

But not them making the challenge worth 3 stars to drag Shea (who flopped almost the entire season in my opinion) to the finale.

Not Michelle saying Shea was her favorite talent this episode while Monét brought us all to tears

And not them giving Shea the lip-sync win as well.

This show really knows how to make their fans angry and make us hate certain queens.

Besides the kinda blatant riggory for shea I absolutely loved this episode. Everyone was talented but monet just absolutely stole the whole show she had me crying. The lipsync definitely deserved a double chante as well. Sheas riggory was a little jarring at first but bc she did deserve to be in the top based on the challenge performance it wasnt too bad. I feel bad for jaida but at least monet now has 5 stars absolutely ICONIC.

This whole season was so much fun, to be able to see the Queens perform on every single challenge, some of my favourite Queens of all times (I LOVE Raja, also Yvie and The Viv), every single Queen showcased talent and funny sides of themselves, it was great to see, I thought AS was finally working, despite not showing the reasons why some winners were picked were it weren't obvious, like in this episode, one of the Queens was an obvious winner, but the other wasn't. It's clear who are the main narrators chosen by production, but judging should be fair, they are choosing, not the Queens and the infamous lipsticks. It ruins all the meaning.

Producers are harming some Queen's careers here. People around the world don't like "special treatment" and neither future viewers. All those Instagram followers won't pay those Queen's bills. Because we know when it's "Rigga Morris". And even when it's Production and RuPaul's work, they will keep making money, but we won't forget the bias in favour of those Queens. A show is coming to my third world country featuring 2 Queens involved in this Rigga Morris issue. I don't feel like going, even though I would love to see the other 2. It starts with a couple of people in a third world country who won't attend a show and a lower rating on IMDb. How it will end? We want the riggotry to end, that's all.

No Variety At All

I wish they would stop doing "variety" show episodes, all they do are lip synced renditions of their own singles so there's very little variety at all. Props to Raja, Jinx and Monet for doing something different. Maybe a variety performance where there's a number of categories and they have to spin the wheel and get given comedy, singing, dancing, lip sync etc would be better. Or at least some lead from the producers to say you can't all do the same thing. I agree this episode was not fair to randomly give out 3 stars either.

Heartwarming and great showcase of the queens' talents

Hate on the twist all you want, this episode was great. I know it's not technically the last episode but it was a great culmination to the season and a prime example of how this format uplifts and lets us learn more about queens we already love. Got emotional at several points. Also loved seeing the queens interact in the workroom, really feels like they all love each other. The Shea plot this episode was perhaps done a little obviously but it still worked for me. Monét KILLED IT. The drama of picking who went through was juicy, and the lipsync was fantastic. My only real complaint is I wish there'd been a runway, but I'm giving it a 10 to counteract the bitter reviewbombing. People weren't this mad when stars were just given away...

The queens have been amazing and if we didn't have this last 2 twists would have been one of the best seasons.

One of the best talent shows of the series. I understand why people don't agree with the producers' choices, but come on; these queens showed up. Amazing lip sync and great talent showcases. On top of that: lots of great charities got some attention. Great episode.

They really know how to ruin a season

The production saw that one of the fan-favorite queens would not make it to the finale, so they increased the reward for last challenge from one to three stars and gave her a win.

It could not be more obvious what is going on and it is disgusting. As a viewer I want an equal chance for everyone in the competition. A challenge that is suddenly worth 3x as much as a normal challenge? - How is this fair?

Come on you cannot be unfair while accusing the show is unfair. Shea's song and dance was so on point and she is rightfull winner of this episode. Overall Jaida and Shea have EQUAL amount of wins. I adore Jaida this season but i am not sad for her. I am only feel sorry for the Vivienne actually. She was funny, talented and crush the game in all episodes (except a few moments that she was bitter to Jinx).

Everyone was awaiting a twist on stars on the last episodes of the season. I was thinking they will give double star on last two or three episode or get a chance steal star from each other. But definitely there would be a twist. We were all know it.

If there were two star given instead of three and 4. Spot were filling up with a small game or lipsync it would be better but it is what it is.

Firstly, you guys cannot be saying that the whole season. Has been ruined by a singular episode... I think that the 3 star twist was a way to give all of the queens with 2 stars a chance to be in the finale, not just to favour Shea. How was Ru meant to know that Shea was going to win this episode and have the best performance? Plus how fair is it that Jaida got a free star from Jinkx? If anything neither Jaida nor Shea technically deserve to be in the top with the extra 'undeserved' stars.

Forced finalist

We all know Shea does not deserve to be in the top. This was 100% forced. The Viv & Jaida should be up there. Didn't want to admit it but this show is starting to feel too scripted now.

Such a shame. Started strong and it o only took a twist to ruin it all.

Dancers get no love

I have seen a few of the hottest dancers in the background on this show with 3 that comes to mind.

Why do they never get any credit for all they bring to this show? You can find info on the pit crew and others but never the dancers? They deserve to have fans, followers, and supporters. They do a great job and help bring to life performances done by these great Queens.

If drag race is going to do one thing is introduce a twist at the so that they can get one of their favourites to the end.

Don't get me wrong i love Shea and I'm only hating on production but if you are doing fine all season long and then at the end you somehow make it to the finale just because production loves you it seems very unfair to queens who have been doing better then her all season (Raja, Viv & Jaida) It all invites people to hate on Shea because of this so it's just a really odd way to ruin a really good season.

Other than that, the talent show was good but not the better then Espana Season 2 but the 3 stars really ruined the whole episode for me.

Rating this a 10 because it does not deserve to be rated this low. I am unhappy with the outcome just as much as the next gal but honestly this episode is like a solid 8/10. The performances were off the charts in the talent show, the twist really did not make me too happy but the performances were so good i honestly didn't even care by the end and i literally cried several times. This was such a good episode and y'all are just salty bc your fav didn't make top 4...

Okay, so I have seen so many reviews on this episode be 1/10 stars, JUST because there was a small part of the great episode that it was. I don't think the 3 star twist ruined the season, we were all expecting some sort of twist like near the end of the season, and just watching the episode it was very clear that they got the top two right.

I was 100% team Jaida from the start, but her and Shea both only won two challenges and technically Shea was more consistent. I am very sad that Jaida didn't make the top 4, but she still has the chance to win $50,000 and is amazing at lip syncing, she came into this season feeling like she didn't deserve to win, and she's leaving with a huge fan base supporting her, she's still a winner and no one can take this away from her. I can guarantee that her career with skyrocket after this season. Don't send unnecessary hate towards Shea over something she could not control.

This fandom is so whack because one minute they're saying Shea was robbed in one challenge, but when she gets a win she deserves they're all mad at her.

I don't think that this episode deserves the hate it is getting, the talents were great, they gave $100,000 to 8 different charities, and they're all just having fun. Enjoy this season because it's one of the best we've ever seen!

How to ruin an amazing season in 1 episode..

Ru did it again! She ruined an entire season by playing favorites.. This made absolutely no sense other than putting Shea in the top 4. I'm sorry but she didn't deserve this based on her performance.. I feel really bad for especially Jaida. She deserved that final spot and they took it away because of a stupid alliance and giving people more stars than they deserve. If Jinx doesn't win this season than I will never watch it again..

This was my fav episode of the season. Monet had the best variety show aot (besides tati), shea was soo sexy on the stage, jinkx was jinkx, raja was gorg, everyone else did fun lip-syncs even though those r getting a lil stale (they were still good tho). The lip-sync was sooo good to kylie... easily one of the best of the season. Ppl r mad abt the twist and i can see why... but just cause ur fav didnt make the top doesnt mean it was a bad episode. Trin had 4 wins and jaida had 2... even tho i love jaida shea did rlly well over the course of the season and they both had 2 wins... if anyone was robbed it was viv and raja but it doesnt matter rlly bc they both got soo many new fans from this season which is arguably better than being in the lip sync thingy.

Unfair to viewers and Queens

Production really said we're sending Shea to the final and there is nothing you can do about it.

WHY? Why introduce such a stupid twist that you know will cause backlash with the fans. All it will do is make people mad that the work all the queens have done all season means nothing.

If it was one star like most weeks then the top four would've included Jaida and not Shea. It's frustrating to watch because it feels like the whole season was wasted for an episode where they just handed this win to Shea and then made her win the lip-sync when Monet did better. This episode was so set up for Shea to get the top 4 and they didn't even hide it!

Honestly unfair for everyone including Shea who being in the top 4 will be disregarded by people as unjust. Like why? Such a stupid twist, please stop having these twists that leave you with a bitter feeling watching it.

An incredibly great episode for Monet

I really think Monet's performance will go down in history. That was incredible... I'll bet that's one of the best nights of her life.

As far as the rest of what happened goes, the night objectively went to Monet and Yvie.

Based on overall performance though, I'll break it down from what I've seen:

The best is Jinkx.

Second through fifth have all kind of been a grey area... Trinity, the Vivienne, Raja, and Shea

Then Monet, Jaida, and Yvie

Don't get me wrong, they're all great. I'm talking overall season... This episode did a great job correcting all of the weird decisions that were made earlier on. I distinctly remember feeling like Shea and Raja were both cheated multiple times and that Jaida literally lucked out being given stars (i.e. Jinkx being weird). There are politics, but at the end of the day-based on the results of this episode-I really think this season has done well giving credit where it's due.

One last thought... this is one of those episodes that reminds me how wholesome this show is. At the end of the day a ton of the content is raunchy, but the whole charity donation motif and giving glory to all 8 of the queens for how amazing they are regardless of their performance that episode is something every person I know needs. Being a queer viewer myself, let me tell you that Rupaul and this show give me reason to keep loving and building others up regardless of their past.
