The Daughter Also Rises is a good Simpsons episode, with some funny scenes and a good story,as well as side story. It also had some great guest roles from Michael Cera,Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage.I found the main story to be a little weak, but I did enjoy the Mythcrackers side story a lot more, and it probably could have done well as a main story.Michael Ceras role wasn't given any comedy,or even much of a personality, they just made him Lisa's love interest, which they should have given more humor and personality to.This is the 499th episode of the series, and congratulations to The Simpsons cast and crew for making it this far,the couch gag where Moe congratulates the family on there 500th episode, only finding out its the 499th episode, was very funny.
Lisa meets a boy called Nick (Michael Cera) at a restaurant and instantly falls for him, leaving Marge feeling like her daughter is drifting away from her.Meanwhile,Bart and Milhouse get into a show called MythCrackers, and decide to crack some school myths.
